Toot Toot Beep Beep (All About Sounds)

These board books are excellent. The images are vivid, and there are not too many words on each page. I appreciate the fact that a different vehicle is shown on each page along with a unique sound for that vehicle. It is a lot of fun to read and my one year old loves imitating the sounds that I make. At the end of the book, the cars go to sleep -- making this a perfect book for a bedtime ritual.

This book is simple, fun, and very readable. Perfect for a young child or toddler who loves vehicles. At 2 1/2 my son had this almost memorized in days and he was "reading" it to me! The illustrations are fun and colorful as different vehicles are introduced along with the noises they make. At the end of the book, though, it gets quiet as the cars are parked for the night. "Night, night cars!" My son's favorite line is this last one, and he says it now to the cars parked outside before he goes to bed. We have lots but this book is definately a favorite.

This book has terrific pictures that have distinct qualities that make it easy to tell the different types of cars apart. For each car featured, it also has it's own sound associated with it. The story is simple and goes through many different types of cars. My boys love this book and imitate the sounds and recite the story well. After checking it (and other Emma Garcia books) out of the library several times, we decided to go ahead and purchase it and they still love it time and time again. This author's other book, Tap Tap Bang Bang, is also a favorite at our house.

I've had this book for my daughter for awhile now and recently bought it for my friend's son. They're both nearly 2 and love this book. The visuals and storyline are simple, but the book is fun to read. Surprising how many times I'm asked to read this book.

I've bought numerous copies of this book. I have it memorized, that's how much all of my kids have loved it. As a parent I don't mind reading the book, because I love making the sound effects. I really like the illustrations as well.

I ordered this book, along with a few other car / truck books for my 20 month old, since cars is ALL he is into right now! Out of all the books we ordered (even the Richard Scarry ones), this is by far his favorite. It's simple, bright colors, and my son loves to imitate the vehicle noises while I am reading him the book. It's a nice size - not too large that he struggles to carry it around, but not so small that the pictures are hard to see. I definitely recommend this book to ANY little vehicle lovers!

This is one of our daughter’s favorite books. She loves the sounds we make when we read it to her and the material makes messes easy to wipe off. So much animation and so much fun.

One of the best books out there that helps your toddler to repeat the sounds My kid has now associated the sound with the colour of the vehicle and makes the sound when asked for the colour. Very helpful for kids who are just starting to speak. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect for the car obsessed toddler in your life. Mine sleeps with this book he loves it so much. Fun to read together and beautifully illustrated.

Fun and engaging. Started reading it to my baby at 4 months and he loves it, especially when you mimic the sounds of the cars in an animated way.

Great repetition. Lovely illustrations. Easy to follow and understand. My two year old can recite large chunks of the story!
