I was glad to find the right membrane, and it worked great for about a month and a half. Now it's already stopping water flow almost completely. Not sure if I'll have to just rebuy another one or if I can find one that works better, so time to do some research.Just be aware, this one might not last long if you choose to go this route.UPDATE: Company reached out to me and had me run a few tests on the system... then sent me a new membrane when we realized something must be wrong with the one I bought. Good customer service and I appreciate them making it right.

It is not APEC OEM Membrane Replacement Filter, it is non name filter... The filter itself has no label at all, the plastic bag does have label, the filter itself does not have any label on it. The image of filter is a fake image, the filter in bag does not have any label on it - none... I purchased it because it has been advertised as OEM filter, it is apparently not an OEM it is a scam...

Not sure if it is a Hydron or Filmtech filter but my previous membrane that came with my APEC system was Hydron and only lasted 18 months. After installing the new one my RO water TDS went from 400 to 80. The source water is 1500 TDS so the reject rate is very good on this membrane. The membrane housing was on way too tight from the factory. I had to remove the housing and put it in my vice to unscrew the gap with an 18" pipe wrench. APEC also does not include replacement O-rings for the membrane housing. Why the heck not for what they are charging? Minus one star for no eeplacement housing O-rings (see photos).

We have now had 3 of these APEC membranes fail. We resorted to find an off brand replacement which worked perfectly. When we bought a brand new APEC system the membrane didn't work, and we asked APEC for a replacement after many emails and hours of troubleshooting. They demanded we pay for shipping of the replacement filter which they later waived. We ordered a full set of replacement filters during a sale and the membrane in that set failed again. As we had it in storage for 6-8 months we thought it didn't age well and ordered a 3rd membrane from Amazon but this one also failed. Fortunately we found an off brand membrane on Amazon which worked perfect.
