Bought a 15 ft coiled. used it in my truck bed to secure some cargo. i like it, except for the coiling. is there any way to "straighten" it out?

If you prefer a straight cable, DocksLocks sells this same cable but without the coil. In regards to this specific cable, the coiling is an inherent part and is one of the purposes of this cable. It's kind of of a love it or hate it scenario. Some prefer the coiling so that there is no excess cable, which can be particularly important when driving if you don't want the cable dragging on the ground. It also helps when storing the cable, since the coiling makes the cable compact.

Locks stuff

Smooth internals, even after leaving it outside for month. Decent gauge, won’t stop a dedicated crim with an angle grinder but it’s not flimsy.

Good idea for securing things in the truck bed

I bought this to help secure items in the back of my truck bed, like things I do not want just sitting loose back there. It looks good, feels sturdy enough, and I liked the overall setup. The only thing missing was instructions for changing the code, but that was easy to figure out on YouTube. Not a big deal. Other than that, it worked out well and I am glad I bought it.
