Solid little brackets
I bought these to go with some speaker terminal plates and they work fantastically. I had used a 2 gang metal bracket in the past and it was terrible because it used folding pieces that didn't clamp on the wall very well so it wiggled. I bought the same style as these in the double gang form so when I needed single I found this set and love them as well. They clamp tightly to the wall so nothing moves and are very easy to install and remove. The only complaint that I have is the screws for the piece that clamps to the wall is a little longer than I would want. When clamped to the wall the screws go into my insulation, however, if they were short enough the plastic piece that clamps to the wall would probably fall behind the wall so obviously I'm not complaining too much. Definitely do not hesitate to buy these things, they are wonderful.

So much easier that installing a box!
I did not include a photo because all you would see is a wall plate. I still have one to install and maybe I could get a shot before buttoning it up. They are a bit delicate, but so much easier than installing a box! I will tell you be very careful to NOT cut the hole too big. I did (top to bottom) and the plastic just fell through. I took a popsicle stick and chopped off two pieces about three inches (with my big wire cutters). I slipped one under the top lip and bottom lip then gently tightened the bracket until it would not move. Do not over tighten, or it will break. THIS IS NOT FOR AC POWER. These are for audio, video cables etc..

Easy to use
New house and projects. I bought a pack to keep around so i wouldnt have to go to Lowes as much. These are handy. Actually a friend had a pack and i decided to buy some because of that. I havent figured out an easy way to mark them and then cut the holes. I use the back against the wall and trace it (inside part). But once the hole is cut and i flip it around i have to adjust the hole for the top and bottom parts that stick out and the sides. But overall its been fine for low voltage stuff (running audio cables, network cables, etc)

Super easy
Super impressed. Make sure to cut the hole square with as little tear out as you can. Seem really sturdy in the wall and look fantastic with a wall plate attached. Most utility boxes are meant to sit recessed from the surface of the wall so your cover plate mounts flush; these have a flange that provide clamping force so depending on your cover plate you may have a very slight gap between the cover and the wall. Mine look pretty nice and you have to look close to see it but something to be aware of. Used mine for Ethernet and coax cabling. Much easier than blowing the wall out and mounting a traditional utility box.

Good, not great. Not easy to trace for cutting
This product is ok. Not 3 stars but not 5. I don't understand why there can't be 4 holes at each corner that you can easily mark the inside diameter for sheet rock cutting. The plate is entirely wonky and you can't easily trace out a clean triangle for cutting. I really think that's poor product design.. otherwise it works

Perfect lower voltage outlet box for diy
Got this to add a box for an Ethernet jack panel. Worked great, fits snug and solid. I had to trim the wall a bit but that's not hard to do if you have a small hand saw or construction knife. Will be using more of these in the future.

Great
wish it came with a template on cutting the hole in the drywall. I tried to wing it and by laying it against the wall but it didn't turn out so good. This is great for running cable lines, ethernet or audio/video cables. Just need a faceplace and good to go.

Used along with double gang brush plate to hide tv cables behind wall. Would use again.

This mounting bracket was very useful and worked great. Simple to use - a little scary when drilling from the basement into the wall above (measured about 100 times). This unit enables exact measurement of the hole in the wall. Nice and sturdy. Great result.

Decent quality and easy to install. Holds well in the drywall and works great for low voltage connections like data cables.
