Nerd SPEC Glasses

I bought these so I could dress up as a character (Bubbles) from a TV show (Trailer Park Boys) for Halloween. I was worried after reading reviews about the glasses being too small and falling apart but I found they fit just fine on my large head and held up well. The lens popped out once or twice after dropping them on the ground but otherwise they stayed in perfectly when I was wearing them. They don't really magnify your eyes like some pictures suggest on Amazon, but they do make you look silly (which was the idea).I wore them for nearly a day straight on Halloween and everyone loved my costume so these really did the trick! Plus they are dirt cheap so you might as well buy them if you're thinking about it.

I love the idea of these glasses for Trelawny in Harry Potter. The kids knew exactly who I was because of this accessory. It does distort a tad but not so much that you are unable to wear. You might have to take them off every once in a while if using for extended time. Overall a fun item for any costume/playtime collection.

Terrible and cheaply made!They came scratched and they are way too small for any adult. The seller is not willing to accept returns probably because they know of these issues

I would have given fewer stars, but the delivery was quick and the glasses were exactly what I was looking for to complete a costume that I needed to put together in a hurry. One of the arms broke off in a matter of minutes and needed to be taped, which inadvertently enhanced the look that I was after. The price was more than fair (less than $5 including tax and 2-day delivery), so I find it hard to complain!

for only a few bucks, there expected to break.. the glasses part came out and it was hard to put back in.. they were also to small to actually fit around my head :(

I'm giving 3 stars because they look good for my costume. Otherwise, they're a little cheap and I can't see through one eye because it's extremely blurry. That's pictured and you can see the waves in the plastic, that's on both lens but the other one isn't as bad. It does give that "fish eye filter" look because of the way the plastic is shaped, but that was expected. I did 2 day shipping, it came a day late, not bad but irritating.Update: I used these on Halloween, ended up tripping a few times because I couldn't see. Especially as it got darker. I eventually took them off, which ruined my costume as Professor Trelawney from Harry Potter, then I looked ikea a gypsy and no longer fit with our famity costumes.

When I put these glasses on, I experience feelings I have never felt before (or at least since junior high). People actually pay attention to me! Some people laugh and smile, others seem to hurry away from me while a few look at me with what appears to be sadness.I don't ham it up with these glasses, I just put them on and go about my day. My friends ask me what I'm doing, and I reply "what are YOU doing?" And that ends that. They act like they don't see the attention I get from the ladies, but I know the truth. They're just jealous.I totally understand how Clark Kent operates now. Even though these so-called "nerd glasses" aren't real, they have their application in the real world. If you're in the market, I think you should get a pair.
