Good-quality, easy to use, effective
Love these mittens! Keep my child's hands warm and dry. Only caution, they look a lot bigger on the outside then they are on the inside. Love the color and they're easy to zip. Wish the wrist portion was longer so they stayed on better.

Nice gloves, but difficult to put on.
My 1 year old granddaughter had small hands. I thought these would be so much easier than mittens with thumbs, nope! Just as hard to get her hands in and then they don't seem to be to the top. We will use them still. Maybe with practice we'll figure out how to insert her hands better.

Love these for 4 mo old
These are wonderful. Purchased for my 4mo old who loves to sneak her hands out of her bundle. They will keep those fingers snug and warm from point A to point B.Of course there are no thumbs for infant gloves. I do not expect my 4mo old to play in the snow. I think if you read and know what you are buying for the use, you will be happy!

It's complicated.
I've used these on several toddlers. The best aspect is that they go on fast and easy. They are comfortable and the fit is good. The hands did stay dry, but I am not convinced that they are made of the best insulation. On one boy, the hands stayed warm and dry. On a smaller girl, the hands seemed red and tender. Both played outside for about 45 minutes at 30-35 degrees. I think/hope we have better insulation available. Mittens from REI and Lands End performed better for warmth, but we had to struggle and strain to get some styles on the little, limp hands. Toddlers are not as active as older children, so they need the best insulation we have to offer. I have lots of little hands here, and there is not much correlation between size and age. I also see most of my toddlers operate shovels and bikes without engaging their thumbs. Once they are using their thumbs, they will probably want a mitten with a thumb. We keep an assortment so they can experiment and participate in the selection and dressing process.

Wrist too tight on 6 month old
For reference, my son is 6.5 months old and weighs 19 pounds and is 28.5" long. These mittens were difficult to get over his hand as the wrist is too small. Once on the part covering the hand was twice as long as his closed hand (we couldn't get him to open it!). I didn't want putting on his mittens to be a two person job so returned them.
