I had complained originally about the flash drive coming with no instructions, that I had to remove our phones from their cases in order to insert the drive. The Flash Drive works fine, after I google-searched for instructions. SunValleyTek contacted me and were anxious to help me solve my problem. Evidently instructions were supposed to appear on screen when inserted, and instructions were emailed to me a few days after receiving the device. There was an IOS update the day before we inserted the drive, which might be why no instructions were seen on screen.SunValleyTek has demonstrated the highest regard and concern in helping me resolve my issues. I salute them for their excellent customer service. Bottom line is; The RAVPower Flash Drive works fine with the proper instructions and the proper App. I added another star or two as having used it for several days now......it does work very well. A big plus for me is that now I don't have to use itunes to transfer pictures/videos from the iphones to our Windows PC or vice versa. It also works well with the Roku 3 for viewing the pictures on the big screen TV.

This device is awesome! Exactly what I needed!!!Initially, I experienced some reservations regarding how to use it (like: "Where's the instructions?" None were in the box). However, I emailed the Sunvalleytek Customer Service Team and they IMMEDIATELY responded with the pdf instructions and indicating this "upgraded" version includes the instructions on the drive, merely insert it into your device.Here's the instructions: Quick Setup: 1. Search correct APP"iPlugmate" on Appstore and install it on your iPhone and iPad. 2. Plug the flash drive to your iOS device to access into "internal storage" or transfer files from your iOS device to the flash drive "external storage". 3. Please close the app before you unplug the flash drive.The ABSOLUTE EASIEST and FASTEST MEANS to TRANSFER DATA or BACKUP DATA I've found between a Lightning Device and Computer!Kudos to the Sunvalleytek Team!

This gadget is sort of OK. It does download photos from my iPhone - - - but only after I bought an extension for the plug so that I didn't have to remove my Otterbox to plug it in. And it will let me copy the photos onto my laptop the way a regular thumb drive would. BUT I cannot figure out how to copy the photos from my iPhone into a particular folder on the flash drive - the photos just get dumped all together. AND the User Guide doesn't really fit with the flash drive I received - maybe it was written for a different gadget or app??Update - I did receive an e-mail from Sunvalleytek with a product manual which I followed exactly in order to move 5 photos from my iPhone to the memory stick. The program moved the *wrong* photos and erased some other photos that I definitely needed to keep - even after it asked permission to erase photos and I told it not to. I think it cannot accurately read which photo is which. I would advise staying away from this product if you care about keeping your photos! I'm not an expert techie, but I can normally manage most things including backing up to iTunes (a far better alternative!) and keeping my own laptop and programs in order. This flash drive was an unexpected and unwelcome setback.Update - Sunvalleytek was kind enough to refund my purchase price. Thank you. I am not willing to experiment with a gadget/app that I experienced as unreliable.

The storage on my phone was always low so I ordered this to take the pictures and videos off the phone and clear up some room. It came, I plugged it into the phone, downloaded the app and done. It took very little time to load all the pictures and videos onto the flash drive and then plugged it into the computer and again there were all my pictures. Easy and Fast, Just what I was looking for.

Great device. Super seller. Quick shipping. Follow up email to make sure I was happy and no problems. App to support device was flawless and very, very, very easy to use. Bought one. Two days later, bought another because it works so well. Take a few million stars from the heavens because the seller has earned them.
