For as long as I lived, I have never bought my own bedsheets. Growing up in my parents house, my parents bought me sheets because I was a kid. Going to college, I just took the sheets I used on my bed at home with me. These sheets that my parents bought, they were like 50% cotton and 50% polyester. These felt like sandpaper basically. I still used them because I didn't know anything about what felt good, but I disliked them. For a while I wanted to buy new sheets that felt good so I didn't destroy my skin as I slept, but I never did because I didn't want to spend money as a poor college kid.Then one faithful day I was at a mall eating an Aunt Annie's pretzel when my brain clicked and got sick of my sheets. I went over to Sears because it was right next to me and I looked for nice sheets. The best I found were some satin pillow cases, so I bought them. That night my head and face felt like a king. I was sleeping on the good stuff: sattin pillow cases. But Sears didn't have satin sheets, I was still sleeping on crap. So I went to every store I could think of that would sell sheets in search of some satin sheets, but little did I know I was playing find the rich person item in the poor person store. No store within a 40 mile radius held satin sheets. So I went home, activated my student membership of Amazon Prime, and bought these sheets and had them next day delivered for cheap.It felt like I was having sex, all over my body. Before these sheets I used to always sleep with my clothes on. I didn't like the feeling of my old sheets so all I subjected to them was my hands and face. Then these sheets came along and revolutionized my bed. They felt amazing. Nice and smooth, and slippery. They felt so good that I started sleeping naked because I wanted the sheets to be all over me.These sheets look like they belong in a pornography or a kings palace. Why do they look like that? Because those are two groups of people who enjoy nice things. For porn stars, their job is all about their body feeling good, so they go for this type of sheet because it makes your body feel good. Royalty? They are rich and also want to feel good, so they go for this type of sheet to also feel good. They may go for silk instead, but this is basically a poor mans silk. It feels almost the same but doesn't burn through your wallet.So these sheets feel fantastic, but what about the downsides? Nothing comes good with no negatives. These sheets are pretty slippery. If you use the pillow case with the sheets, you might want to get some velcro or something to hold it in place. It acts like you lubed up both the pillow and bed, because the pillow just flies around like crazy while you sleep. I ended up jamming my bed into a corner so that the pillow got stuck in a corner and wouldn't move as much.I also got laughed at by my mom because of these sheets. I brought them home after my college semester ended and she saw them and laughed for about a good 10 minutes. My friends grandma also laughed at them when she visited our place one day. I don't know why people think extreme comfort is funny, but some apparently do, so be careful about that if you live with judgmental friends or family.I've washed these multiple times though and they still hold their quality like they're brand new. They are pretty good and I'd recommend them to anyone who likes to feel comfortable.

I am just as HAPPY With this set as I am with the set I purchased in Gold for my own bed first. I don't know why people complain of sizing issues and color bleeding and all that because they got ME ALL PARANOID which led to when I made my FIRST ORDER for my QUEEN SIZE BED, I bought a KING sized set (because everyone said they ran small & shrunk) and I chose Gold because I was worried about "color bleeding", I am actually happy now that I chose the Gold for MY BEDROOM as it is WARM FEELING and matches well with the furniture (wood & marble & black wrought iron canopy), but anyway I DID review that set-which was I WASHED FIRST & they did not shrink considerably if they even shrank at all, because they are BIG FOR MY BED-I have to tuck them in extra because I BOUGHT A SIZE UP, but this does not bother me, as I have a larger top sheet and large king pillowcases which I needed ANYWAY. So then, my teenage son stole one of my gold satin pillows so I decided to BUY THIS ZEBRA SET for HIS ROOM, he has a twin sized bed, but he has one of those feathertop sealy mattresses, ever since I bought it I noticed some of his old twin sheet sets don't fit or just barely fit and a full size sheet seems to fit better because of that extra "pillowtop"-so I bought him a FULL SIZED SET (if I had not already had experience with MY OWN GOLD SET I may have been scared into buying him a QUEEN SIZE had I bought his first). Anyway, again, I washed first before putting on his bed, with fabric softener and laundry detergent, I washed NORMALLY in warm water and I dried on high cotton setting just as I did with my own set (because I want to know UP FRONT if I am going to have to worry about color bleed or shrinkage), WELL, NO PROBLEMS AND MY SON LOVES THEM, his bed is SO COZY & COMFY between his satin sheets and pillowtop mattress, keeps him nice & cool and he loves it. Only drawback now is that the dog likes to lay at the end of his bed and I am worried about the dogs nails "pulling" the satin as it DOES PULL EASILY if you have a hangnail or anything BEWARE, IT WILL SNAG AND PULL-so he lays an additional blanket at the foot of his bed for the dog to lay on but the dog is eyeballing those satin pillows, he can't wait until nobody is looking so he can sprawl out legs and relax on it for himself too, LOL. OVERALL VERY SATISFIED, would recommend to ANYONE ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE, in gold and in Zebra I GIVE TWO THUMBS UP and I could have bought a Queen size set and I'm sure it would have fit my bed but I'm ok with the KING, I just tuck in the extra and we don't have big issues with everything sliding off the bed as everyone complains, my sons bed is against a wall and he hasn't had anything slide off once, I had VERY RARE OCCASIONS as I posted in my review, but it was my own fault, so I don't know why people complain about that. BUT ONE DRAWBACK-I WOULD ALWAYS WASH THESE SEPERATELY because I threw my gold pillowcase in with a regular load of clothes because I had spilled something on it and it just ended up in the hamper, well anyway, it didn't come out so hot, it has some pulls & snags on it and I am assuming it is because it went it with jeans or something with zippers or buttons or something that snagged it, my bad, oh well, so just make sure you don't get careless and start washing them with the rest of your clothes or you just might ruin them.

Really great quality but its more like a Valentine's red or (pinkish red) than red... don't care for the color.

Divatex satin sheets always make me feel like a queen. I'm never going back to cotton. Something about that satin silky feel makes bed a wonder to be in. I now have a few sets from these guys. The material doesn't get ruined, I've had another set over a year and I machine wash it cold - and everything's fine. Still the same satiny fabric. Enjoy!

i dont know what the thread count is but i warn you, do not bring any sharp rings or something near these. I tore a hole in mine OOPS. But if you are a decent human being unlike me then you should have no trouble keeping these in good condition.
