I really like this scale. It's small and compact. There's little waste in the original packaging so you can store it in the original box when not in use, which is easy to open. I bought it for use in soapmaking (haven't gotten around to that yet) but so far it has come in handy for weighing packages as well as with food preparation.I had a big tub of ricotta and a recipe called for 10 oz of ricotta, and I thought to myself "How much is 10 oz of ricotta? Half a cup? A whole cup?" I had no idea. Then I remembered I had this little nifty scale. And on top of that, this little nifty scale has a sweet tare feature and memory! So, I grab a bowl, place it on the scale, tare it, and then get out my tub of ricotta and scoop scoop scoop until I get 10 oz. Wooo!! Too bad my actual bread that I made with the ricotta wasn't that great. I should have put salt in it like the recipe called for, but I'm not used to using salt with anything so I instinctively ignored it in the recipe.Great deal on a great little scale. I highly recommend it, especially if you need something useful to pad your order to get free shipping. Everyone needs a little scale, and it can make a great gift. Unless it might be misinterpreted as a "You need to loose weight" gift, since this scale is targeted more for food prep (there's a little booklet on portion control or something in the box).

I saw this scale on a great sale and decided to purchase it because I had been wanting a digital scale for the kitchen for awhile, though I wasn't sure how much I would need it. I am SO GLAD I got it. A couple weeks after I purchased it I attended a class learning to make sourdough bread using sourdough started, and the best way to make the dough is using percentage weight measurements (instead of by the cup, etc) and I have been using this scale all the time now since I have been baking bread every few days!!

This is a great scale that is easy to clean and easy to use. I use this product to weigh and measure the amounts of food I'm consuming so I can accurately calculate caloric intake. I'm using the scale daily and am very happy with the quality - I even take it with me on the road for business trips or vacations.

I really wasn't expecting much for the price, just wanted something basic. Honestly, though, with the exception of the inconveniently placed unit selector button, this is a sturdy, accurate little bugger. Love the tare feature of course, but I'm even more pleased that it's measuring capacity is so high. Though I also wish the display was easier to read when I set a plate on the scale.

This scale is fine for fine tune measuring in the kitchen for a variety of measurements. Initially, this scale was accurate and only awkward to turn on and off, but I've recently had it showing weight when there was none and the numbers coming up a little sketchy. This is after a period of four months. I would recommend this for light kitchen use and for short lived expectations. This is not a heavy duty item.

This compact little scale takes up little storage space but, gives you big help around the kitchen. It has helped me divide bulk meat, weigh the fruit for canning and size my eggs. I started using the scale as soon as it arrived and so far I haven't missed a day as I am in the middle of canning season. It has met my expectations and more. I could store 3 of these in the area I stored my old scale. In my small kitchen that matters. I whole heartedly recommend this Cuisaid ProDigtal Digtal Kitchen Scale.
