A great deal
This microphone was what I used to replace my Rode NT1 which I loved dearly. My kids broke it and so I needed to purchase a condenser that was decent but cheap. This microphone is exactly that. The sound can be a little “tinny”, but compared to others of the same price this things a Cadillac. The shock mount that came with it is the worst part. That thing is so flimsy it’s just for show and eventually fell apart just sitting on my desk! But the microphone itself is great for the price if not a steal considering the quality you get. I’ve used it for vocals only and feel that for instruments it would be a little too roomy. Anyway, love it either way and will be happy to keep it in my collection for the years to come as a solid backup.

Mic is Great. Mount is not.
The audio quality of this mic is great and pretty well priced. Its a bit rich sounding in the top frequencies, but I have a lower voice so that is of little concern for me. My main issue with this is the shock mount. After only a month of use the suspension bands became loose and I had to replace them. Then, after about 4 months of use the adjustment screw on the mount broke. It appears to be made of a cheap zinc alloy and had issues holding the mic up reliably. Like I said, the mic is great, but if you buy this, be prepared to buy another mount for it with better materials.

Outstanding started microphone to get an audio setup started
I was looking for an xlr mic setup and decided on this microphone and the Shure X2u. Both work fantastic together and a great way to get an audio interface set up for ~$200. My only complaint with this microphone is that mine broke after around 6 months, but factoring in the low price point I would seem the quality over this time great value still and an outstanding choice, just don't plan for it to be a permanent mic solution for your setup.
