Installed the adapter in my antique lamp and it works great. Can now use a regular size bulb.

I knew up front from other reviews that you loose your 3-way switch capability with this adapter, but I just put the LED bulb strength that we like the best and we are very happy with it.

Didn't know these existed until I needed one! I bought an old floor lamp at a garage sale and it had a huge lightbulb in it with a wide base. I bought this so I could use regular lightbulbs! So smart! Great price too!

It was perfect for our antique pole lamp to replace the wide base light bulb with a standard bulb.

I use an antique trilight for painting in dark areas, and unfortunately we all went for a topple, lamp and I. The main light bulb shattered. Extra wide base bulbs do not exist any more in my area, searching found this accessory, worth a try and it works perfectly. Screw it in, screw in normal size bulb and good to go.

Tried to find an adaptor like this at electric specialty shops and no one seemed to know that they existed. Found on Amazon at a great price with quick delivery. Now I can convert my old spot light to LED and put it to use.

Bulb adapter fit perfectly into my tri-light lamp. Screwing a bulb into the adaptor was a different matter. The bulb screwed in, but the fit wasn't good. It was as if the threads didn't mesh properly with the bulb. It does function though.
