EGO Power+ Commercial Series AN6000F Flat Blower Nozzle for Model LBX6000, Black

I bought this to fit a "mastercraft" blower as they don't sell reducers. The I.D. fit over the blower tube and remained in place. Happy with the result.

I ordered this because the blower I purchased was missing it and only came with the round one. I was under the impression that this would do a better job moving the leaves because it airflow would be concentrated to a smaller, more refined area. Not so at all. It simply reduces airflow, causing reduced performance. I tested this against the round nozzle by blowing a twig across the yard. The round nozzle would keep moving away from me when I got 1-2 feet away from it. I then tested this flat nozzle on the same twig. It would wiggle a bit but not move away from me. I tested both nozzles on leaves also and got similar results, the round nozzle doing a much better job moving the leaves. This flat nozzle had a slightly wider impact area but left many of the leaves behind. I'd rather just oscillate the blower back and forth, moving more leaves on a wider path with the round nozzle than deal with the poor performance of this flat nozzle. I also found this to be difficult to install and remove due to the tight fit. Retuning this nozzle ASAP.

This flat nozzle fit my EGO blower and it does work, it just doesn't impress me as any better than no flat nozzle at all. If it came with the blower that would be fine. But don't charge extra for it as it isn't worth it to my way of thinking.Long story short, if I had seen and used this nozzle before I bought it I wouldn't spend the money. It's priced right for what it is (IF it worked better), it's just not that much better so not worth the expense to me.I bought this because when I bought the EGO blower 2 years ago that was to replace my 20 year old Homelite ST185BC which has worked flawlessly for decades. It came with a flat nozzle that was slightly bent and worked very well. The nozzle would not fit on the EDO blower so I went without until I found this one recently and ordered it.At least I'm only out $14, could have been worse.

Let me start by saying this will fit The non-commercial backpack blower. 😀👍🏼Great product however note that the seller has the wrong picture up. The item you will be receiving is not the flat but the round nozzle which increases power and velocity however is not the flat which is more for directional airflow. The description is correct but it's the wrong photo. The seller does offer the flat version but seems to be posting it as the round must have but the wrong photos per post.Hope this helps someone and clarifies it a little.

Despite the fact that this adapter was not designed to work with the LB6000 Backpack Leaf Blower, I found that it adequately fits onto the end of the blower tube. The reduced outlet diameter affects an increase in velocity, improving the efficiency of the blower. I found that we could cover more area in less time with lower battery consumption - added about eight minutes of run time (dry leaves).
