Favorite birthday gift!
My Grandson wanted this for his birthday for the last few years. A little pricey so we had to wait and get it for a special birthday. HE LOVES IT! He slept with it, he took it to school. It is his very favorite gift of all.

The train showed up and looked fantastic. My 5yo son fell in love with it as he had been saving his allowance for a few months to purchase it. After a few days however, the graphics started to flake off. Though my son doesn't really care about the looks, it's disheartening to me to see something my son worked so hard for to degrade that quickly.

Poor finish quality
I bought this for my son as a reward for potty training. He loves it but the finish is chipping off so is the designs underneath it. This train costs way too much money to see the finish come off in little more than a months time. Would not purchase this again.

Poor quality wheel and axle system for the high price
I purchased this for my son for Christmas. He wanted a CSX train so badly but I held off until the holiday because of the cost of this item. It’s a great look train and he loves it. The only negative aspect of this train are the wheels. Compared to all of his other trains that are way more cost effective, the wheels and axle system feel cheap to the touch and have difficulty staying on the wooden tracks. The train becomes burdensome to play with as the wheels rarely stay aligned and always come off the track. During play time, he often passes the train off to me to play with because of this and I always try to sneakily take it off the track and swap it out with another train so I don’t have to deal with it anymore. He does love the train but it’s disappointing that this expensive train has such poor playability.
