Better than duct tape!
This crash wrap is great value for the price you pay and how much you get. It is easy to put on, sticks and holds fantastic. It doesn’t leave a gross residue behind like duct tape. It’s safe for paint and holds up well. Very versatile so you can use it on an assortment of vehicles or other uses you can think of. Great functionality

Good product, but a bit expensive. Fits nicely, but not perfectly after a little while.
This product was just what I needed a while back before I got new glass put in on my car. The adhesive held very well, but after a little while, I noticed that a few small areas were starting to lose their adhesion. It's a bit expensive considering the material. However, I recommend this product very much while you wait for a glass replacement.

Window
I used this on a passenger outside rear window 3 weeks ago and it's staying so far even in the rain. I haven't taken through a car wash yet.

A lot stronger than I expected
I got this to cover missing windows on a project car. I was afraid of paint damage, so I only attached it to the chrome trim around the windows. Since then, we have had four different wind storms with gusts up to 80mph. Shingles blown off the roof, trees down, siding missing from my house, fence down, but this stuff is still holding strong on the rear window opening on my car, although the wrap covering the side window openings eventually came loose after the second or third storm.

Very sticky with no residue short term
I used this in lieu of fender and bumper covers to work on my car for a few hours. It worked great but it sticks really good. I am not sure I would leave this on my car long term like crash wrap is used.

Almost Good Enough...
I purchased this with the expectation that it would stick well to the car and work temporarily as a window replacement after my car got t-boned. I was half right. First attempt, I cleaned the area with soap and water, then applied the wrap smoothly to the area that was hit, minimizing any wrinkles or bubbles, all the way up to the roof (my doors are frameless). That didn't last very long. The part that went on the roof held perfectly, but the lower half around the dented portion failed and started flapping (deafeningly loudly) in the breeze. Second attempt, I did the same application, but added blue painter's tape around the areas that failed on the first attempt, and anchored the front of the wrap to the side view mirror with tape. That lasted longer, but the areas between the tape worked free. Deafening again. Third attempt, I shrunk the area the wrap was applied to, adding painter's tape along the entire bottom edge and side view mirror. MUCH quieter, with minimal movement at speed. This time, and for the first time, the roof area completely failed and started falling off while I was driving! But it was also the first time the bottom DIDN'T fail. I knew I was on to something. Fourth attempt, I did the same application, but added tape around the entire perimeter of the wrap. SUCCESS! It's been holding for a couple of days now, as quiet and stable as it's ever been. So the moral of the story is, if you want to use this wrap for more than just covering up a gaping hole while your car sits motionless, you NEED to add painter's tape or similar to secure everything. Also, make sure to first anchor one long side of the wrap onto the car securely and smoothly with tape, then pull the other side tightly to pick up as much slack as possible. Not only will any slack hasten failure by allowing the wrap to shake all over the place, it'll also cause the wrap to be absolutely deafening over 40mph. I had to wear an earplug the first week with this stuff on until I learned how to solve it through trial and error! On the bright side, because the wrap isn't super sticky, it's easy to reposition until you get everything sorted. You can even release it if it folds onto itself with a quick snap pull, so you don't have to worry about wasting any. Doesn't stick to itself very well, so don't try any overlapping. Better off filling gaps with painter's tape. And yes, it leaves residue when removed (painter's tape removed without a trace). Every time. Even after 1 day. Not a problem for me because the car's probably getting scrapped, but for anyone else, I'd say it's probably best to wax your car before applying this, leaving a sacrificial layer that can easily be removed to eliminate the glue residue. The other option is probably going to be bug and tar remover, or Goof Off. Messy.

Used it to protect my truck paint in a rough trail. When decided to remove it, il was really hard to remove and some of the sticky backing stayed on my paint. I will have to spend hours to clean that mess… Don’t use!
