Great gadget for summer. Large ice cubes which last longer on the drinks. 2 molds makes 16 cubes which is enough for us. The cubes are easy to take out from the tray.

I wanted to give it 5 stars but extracting the cubes is more difficult than I anticipated.

I purchased this two-pack silicone ice cube tray when its predecessor—from a similar Amazon seller—began literally coming apart at the seams. The previous item was also sold as a two-pack deal—one rectangular six-cube tray, the second a tray with spherical molds for producing round ice cubes. The round cube tray is still in use, probably because it is used infrequently, but the other tray is now useless except for the two cube holders in the middle...and who is gonna mess around with that! The rectangular tray began splitting from top to bottom on both ends after only a couple of months' use. Now, when water is added to the end cube holders, they immediately begin leaking onto the kitchen counter. And even if it could make it all the way into the freezer, the leaking water would surely glue itself, along with the tray, to the freezer's bottom as soon as it began freezing. This lengthy intro concerning a competitor's faulty product serves to point out how careful I was in selecting a new seller of silicone trays. Favorable reviews and a good price convinced me to try this seller, and so far I am not disappointed. The new trays were observed right off as superior to the former trays. They were larger, not only in depth but in quantity...these being 8-cube trays instead of six. The trays feel more sturdy, and when transferring the cubes into a bowl, the twisting of the tray is effortless and the cubes slide out much more easily than their deceased predecessor. I'll update any unforeseen digression in quality, but for now, I highly recommend this seller and their product.

Did the job. The silicone is a bit stiff but once the first one is out the rest are easy

Iced tea, an insulated tumbler, and large ice cubes make hot weather more tolerable. Usual cubes look dinky now. I’ve also frozen broth, tallow, sauces, and flavored butters in perfect portions in one of these trays (and my now retired normal trays). Good purchase.
