As long as I followed the instructions all went well. Most important is to have a balanced garage door first. I found out after the install that the door was to heavy, not balanced. After the new sound and heat proofing it must of added 15-20lbs. Once the door was balanced the opener is now so quiet I found other problems with hinges etc... Now it's scarry quiet. I can't tell if someone is opening it anymore. Better than waking the neighbors each time I go in and out.

I installed this product by myself, and Im no professional, but it was easy, and let me tell you it's been working like a champ for almost a year now. It's better than my other one I had up there, which was a name brand. I'm so impressed. This is a Great product, Well Worth the money, and it looks good. Thank you SkyLink, and Thank you Amazon.

Great value and quiet. Slow opening and closing the door - even compared to the 20yr old one it replaced. Easy install and setup. Good web access. NOT compatible with Homelink though.

I purchased SKYLINK ATR-3823BKW in July'22 based on price vs. feature analysis. Two month after, I sincerely regret my purchase. This is why. First, the unit arrived with wrong or broken beam sensors. The manual suggests that one of them should have green LED light and another one red light when correctly installed; the sensors I received had NO LED lights built in (!), the head unit did not work with faulty sensor beams. Contacted SKYLINK customer support. My rating of interaction and helpfulness of the customer support is 1/10. Upon tests and investigation (1 hour plus), they agreed to send sensor beam replacements. They arrived in a week and were installed, and...the whole system worked well until the main unit died in 30 days. I exchanged multiple emails and had to schedule a WhatsApp call to prove that the unit does not work (another 2-3 hrs). It did not and Skylink has graciously agreed to send a replacement under warranty. 10 days after the main unit has arrived ... and was dead on arrival. Another round of email exchange, another WhatsApp call was scheduled now with the presence of a supervisor (remove the unit, take it to your living room, connect to the outlet inside of your house,..., and the same conclusion at the end): the unit they shipped me is dead. After a two days consideration, Skylink send me email that they will be shipping an upgraded better unit to compensate for my troubles (--would it fit to the rails and other parts, --I thought?). After waiting for 6 days and not receiving this promised main unit, I sent two email to the customer support asking for a tracking number, only to find out that now, the customer support actively avoids me by not sending the tracking number and typing some non-sense in response. My experience bottom line: product of insufficient quality, but such poor customer support I have not met in my lifetime. A bitter regret with this purchase and about 20 hours wasted.

Quiet DC garage door opener to replace 12 YO 120v. Opener. Used all existing mounting hardware. Just needed to do a little wiring. Having a little trouble with the outdoor keypad but will call Customer service to help.

The media could not be loaded. First time installing one of these and I must say it wasn't that bad, followed the instructions and with some basic tools and power drill and ladder got in up and installed within a few hours

I’ve called 10 companies to get this install and Just about all of the phone calls I’ve made to get this product install has yelled a big “NO” to me…The main complaint about this product is the difficulty installing it…they claim that it has too many pieces to put together and that belt will break and that it will be difficult to replace. I tried to reassure them that I have a warranty that should take care of that but most of them were saying the same thing, ‘it’s not about the warranty, it’s about getting the replacement part when it breaks down’.. it is a good product however I’m considering returning it due to the fact that I can’t get it installed. And no I’m not a diy er

This was really easy to install, works with the Harley-Davidson module it's the same brand though so that should be expected. Best of all though I can't hear it inside at all.

It worked quite well for a year, pretty quiet, no issues. But then it wouldn't stop closing and ended up slightly bending the door with a sickening crunch sound. We quickly manually pressed the button to stop it from descending further and were able to re-program it. 2 months later, same thing. Completely destroyed our door.

I bought this brand of garage opener from Amazon mainly because Costco sells it too. I figured if Costco sells it, then it must be a good brand. The ease of install wasn’t too bad as I am only replacing my 30 year old opener which was a craftsman brand. I can tell you that this is a super quiet opener. My last opener makes the house vibrate that I was so used to it. I haven’t linked my wifi to it yet as I am having problems. I’m not gonna deduct any points for that as I don’t really care for it that much. Hopefully this opener lasts me another 30 years just like my craftsman.

The remote batteries suck.Aside from that is works well

Product is very nice all was in the package but returned as it was not a fit for my doors due to height ceiling to low I purchase side mount perfect fit.

Had no trouble installing, but can't get it to work with alexa, which is why I bought it in the first place.
