Went camping for the weekend and did not get bitten by one mosquito! Over the course of the three days I used the soap, only 2 flies landed on me. Overall a good product, the rest of the bugs didn't seem to care, but they didn't bite, so a win is win, will definitely buy again. The citronella smell is strong, but pleasant; no skin irritation, lathered well, and didn't dry me out. I thought the size was small for $10, but it lasts. 2 people 6 showers over 3 days and it still has the same shape of when I opened it.

I picked up this citronella bar soap for a recent camping trip, and it worked really well at keeping bugs at bay. The scent is strong (in a good way) and natural, thanks to the pure citronella essential oils. It’s a nice alternative to sprays and feels like a great fit for outdoor use. The bar itself is well-made and lasted longer than I expected. I like that it’s handmade and uses natural ingredients, which is always a plus. The only downside is that it can leave your skin feeling a bit dry, especially with repeated use. I’d recommend following up with an unscented moisturizer if you have sensitive or dry skin. Overall, it’s a great soap for outdoor activities, and I’ll definitely keep one in my camping gear.

I bought the Ain't Buggin Me soap to help fend off mosquitoes. It's a lovely scent and washes off clean; I feel nice and refreshed when I use it. However, the poppy seeds really do scrub, so much so that it felt like using a sharper pumice stone on my body. Don't get me wrong, that can be great sometimes, esp on your feet... but on other more sensitive or soft parts of your skin, it can feel pretty abrasive. It also goes pretty fast, it's been about two weeks or less and I feel like I've used up half or more of the bar. I can't speak to its mosquito repelling abilities bc I killed the ones in my house while waiting for it to arrive but I'd like to believe it works bc the essential oils' scents are strong! Overall I liked it but for $9/bar, it's too expensive for me to keep buying.

We buy these all the time due to our location. I have a theory that washing with this when the bugs are out helps not get bitten. This, combined with other products, repels the bugs. I like the smell, however, it's a bit rough and my kids don't want that.
