Water Washable 3D Printer Rapid Resin 1000g US-EL-3D-075

When a print first comes out it looks beautiful. The color is great and it really lives up to the image on the page. The problem comes when you need to actually use it. I rinse it then put it in a small sonic bath to clean anything else off of it, both reasonable steps. I have tried water-only rinses and water-the-aclohol rinses and the results are the same. I give the prints 15 minutes on a turn table with two UV lamps running to make sure it gets all the angles. From there I see that any warping has become stronger then after a few days it starts disintegrating to the touch. I have no idea why. I've run five attempts on one simple print: A piece of dungeon tile for a D&D table. This just isn't working. The printer isn't the problem, I've ruled it out, it's the resin. I've even input the settings it recommends on this page but it still doesn't resolve the underlying problem. This is pretty frustrating because I want to use some clear dungeon tiles in combination with lighting effects to make a really cool and interesting looking dungeon space to have a big fight in, but this resin is holding me back. I think I may have to try a different brand if I can't get this figured out before the bottle runs out.

It printed well, but it is more of a very light blue in cololoring. Almos Cyan is more closer to the color. When putting it in to the wash, at first I thought it disolved. Could be a bit much blue-ery?

The resin prints with great detail and the build is sturdy. Depending on the size or thickness of the desired print it can turn out flexible or sturdy. Decent price for the product will be purchasing more colors.

I've used a lot of the Elegoo resins and had fantastic results. This is the only one I will not buy again. Print quality is great as always, but the adhesion is insane. Using Elegoo's recommended settings it sets up so hard and so tenacious that I bent my metal scraper trying to remove a print off the plate -- and this was a print that I did not put flat on the plate, it was tilted and elevated. Normally these kind of prints just pop right off but not this one. This is consistent behavior over two different brands of resin printers and two different bottles. Recommended settings or not, I could not get successful prints that would also lift easily from the plate. Which also means I was always at high risk for damaging the plate or the print. Clear red, no problem. Clear black, no problem. Opaque grey no problem. I did prints with all these after my prints with the clear blue. This one is just problematic and I can't figure out why.

I had to get new resin since my old stuff was expired and not working properly. It works well enough but the resulting prints can be very brittle. For minis and stuff that are going to be printed in one go it's fine. If you need to assemble things, the resin shrinkage and brittle nature of this resin will be less than helpful.
