I work with loud industrial equipment. It's a pretty strenuous job and often gets hot and humid. You know what makes these situations conducive to working? An industrial fan and this speaker!! This little guy is LOUD. The neodymium drivers really speak through the radiator (low frequency response is beautiful). I honestly love the way it projects in such a rich and responsive way. And in this little package! It has some nice weight in my hands, something I find to be really sweet - indicative of decent little drivers. It's got a nice rubber bracket around the whole thing, which protects the corners well. The lights are amazing for my tastes. I'm not around any pools or anything this summer, so I can't say anything about the water aspect. But I would trust it to get harmlessly splashed on in certain situations. Kind of like a "waterproof" wristwatch. I find it to be very user friendly, as well. Pairs right up with my budget smartphone. Two important things: when it's charging, it's the plus sign that turns red. It comes with a mini charging cable that plugs into anything USB. It is a rather short cable, but it's needed because it doesn't take a C-Type plug. It's a USB-B Micro. Anyway, it projects enough sound for me to hear it over the machines. Keeps me going through the night as I work! I love it. Good price, too, for what it is - a miniature sound system that I'm very impressed with. I also have another AL speaker that's around the same size and price (the Hydrawave) that sounds excellent, as well. These little speakers are well-built.
