Works great for traveling
We purchased to use when traveling by vehicle on long trips. Initially, we couldn't figure out why it wasn't getting cold but after reading instructions, we realized it needed to be out of the carrying case for proper circulation. After that, it worked perfectly!

Nice and does the job.
Very nice, but max holding temperature is 18C. Would like 22C, so "normal" meds can be stored safely.

Doesn’t work as described
Bought this cooler in November 2021 (9 months ago). At first it cooled as expected then we had our first power out….the battery did not kick in, then another and another. On power it seemed to work ok but battery was hopeless. Now wind forward 8 months it has stopped even getting cold. See the picture showing 63 degrees and it’s been like this for a few weeks even though it is set to 8 degrees. It was not cheap ($130) and is going in the trash. Heap of junk!

Works very well
I need a portable medication refrigerator for use with Humulin U-500 insulin. The vials are about 1-1/3 inches (3.3 cm) in diameter and must be kept between 35 and 45 degrees Fahrenheit (between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius). The first two medication refrigerators I tried didn't satisfy these criteria, despite descriptions that claimed to satisfy the requirements. This one did, and works very well. I used a data logging thermometer to confirm that the temperature was within range. It is also deep enough to fit the Humulin vials and several medication pens.It has a built-in handle and a separate carry bag. It can fit two Lithium batteries, each good for about 6 hours.

It works, provided you don't ask too much of it.
I bought this for a road trip, and noticed a few things.1. While driving in the car (I had it plugged into an inverter) the plug would come out of the unit at times (luckily it beeps, so you know when it happens).2. If the sun is beating in on the unit, even in an air conditioned car, it stays warmer than what you have it set at, I had it set to 2* C and it was hanging around 4-5*, so I set it to 0* and put it under my clipboard to shade it, and that helped, ended up bumping it back up to 2*3. If you have it in a non-air conditioned area, it's not going to keep up. I had bought it because I had a 2 90 minute tour, and the battery powered aspect would be perfect to leave it in the car during the tour. Except even running, when I got back to the car in 2 hours, on an 80* F day, and I came out to my cooler reading 27C (80F), luckily it didn't seem to ruin my insulin, but had it been a 3 hour tour, it probably would have ruined about $500 in insulin.4. It was great in my hotel room, because those hotel fridges are unpredictable, and sure enough it froze my drinks, but because I had that cooler plugged in, it saved my insulin from a freeze.SO if you're using this in a house with air conditioning, or traveling in an air conditioned car, this is pretty nice, especially if you're using a shared fridge, or just want to keep your supplies in a room that doesn't have a fridge... but if you're thinking about taking it camping, or leaving it in a car, or doing something outside of air conditioning for an extended period of time, just get a small cooler where you can stop at a gas station and put some ice in it now and then.

Perfect
Worked great on our road trip and flight across country.

Cheap garbage
Worked acceptably for 90 days, then died completely. Also, controls are confusing and the buttons are WAY too sensitive. The settings change if a fly lands on a button. Don't even think of resting something on top of it. Avoid!
