Alpatronix Battery Case for iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone13 Mini (5.4 inch), Slim Portable Protective Extended Charger Cover with Wireless Charging, Lightning Input, CarPlay - Matte Black

Product is purchased for my iPhone 12 mini which is having poor battery backup.In fact thought this product will add some protection too.But in one month of usage( after 02 1/2 months of purchase) a hair line crack appeared at the back side of case.The plastic at that area is very fragile and can easily get damage in regular use. Not worth the money due to poor design.

Product arrived clearly used - no protective folium, dusty and scratched

Product showed up very fast with Amazon Prime order. Battery was almost fully charged. Case has texture to have a non-slip feeling. Fit is very good and snug. Weight is OK, to me anyways, and it gives the feeling of holding something rather than feeling like your always going to drop it. I put my phone in my front pocket and it feels thin and comfortably stays in place. I bought Alpatronix Qi charging pad and it picks up and notices charge fine. At first before installing the tempered glass screen protector I thought it maybe felt a little cheap and like plastic but after I got it installed it has a very good feel to the glass. There were no instructions on installing the protector so from doing these before I just used process of elimination. I first took the phone out of the case, cleaned the screen with the supplied wet nap, then cleaned with the supplied dry wipe. I then returned the phone to the case to use for alignment, cleaned the surface once more, wet then dry. Next I used the supplied blue sticky tap and went across the whole surface up and down to remove any lint. Peeled the cover off the screen protector that says remove, carefully holding the edges as to not get any oils or debris on surface. I then placed the lens inside the beveled edge of the case starting at the top and laid the protective lens in place and started with pressure from the middle out working my way to the bottom. After it looked adhered well I pulled the phone from the case and went over the whole surface again using mild pressure making sure there were no air bubbles. Worked perfect. The one small issue I have is the tactile buttons are very firm to press in. This is not that big of deal to me but to some it might be. I look at it as maybe a design feature to keep from the buttons being to easy to press when you don't want it to be. I had previously used Mophie Juice pack as my go to for battery case and was satisfied with there product but they told me they were not making the Juice pack anymore so they lost me on the extra battery back-up case. So far I am happy with the switch to Alpatronix. I have only had this product for a few days so I will try and update later after I get some time and use with it.

Not impressed. It does do Wireless charging but it seems slow. Now for the biggest problem it charges the phone first not at the same time so unless you turn you phone off to charge you will never get the case past 2 lights. I use my phone as an alarm so I keep it on over night. Phone was full but only charges the case less than 1/2 way. If I want a full charge I need to charge separately. Taking the phone out is a pain since it is quite rigid and daily removal will likely damage the connector. Case is also hard and slippery so it doesn’t feel nice or safe in your hand. A kittle heavy as well. I would avoid this model and wait for better products to arrive

Solid protection AND extended battery life for your iPhone 12 for a competitive price. Sure, you might find a cheaper product but, in this case, you get what is advertised: Quality. After purchasing the iPhone 12 mini, I had my heart set on another Mophie much like I have been using for my iPhone 8. However, the company doesn’t yet make a product for the 12 Mini. I thought I would have to “settle” for a cheap knock off to fill the gap. However, with Alpatronix’s offering, I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this charging case. Not only is Alpatronix a US company, as far as I can tell, the case is also manufactured stateside. Two important features play largely into why this is a great case: Native Lightning connector support for USB charge-through, which means your phone is charged first followed by the case when plugged in and full support for Apple Car Play. Both work flawlessly. Bonus points for all-day power, easy phone insertion and retention (rubbery lip wraps around and better protects the face of the phone), package includes a Lightning USB cord AND screen protector, works well with DJI drone remote control pad, nice tactile grip thanks to textured surface, and wireless charging capability/compatibility - I am able to use my Mophie wireless charging pad with it. About the only thing I might wish for would be some type of dust/water resistant screening or filament over the small speaker ports at the base of the case. Overall, an excellent value and outstanding quality case for the money.

I was skeptical due to the reasonable price, but this battery case delivered. I needed it to give me added hours on my iPhone during my run in the NYC marathon. I am a slow runner and my battery was not going to last through the hours wait at the start and then through the hours and pics and texts with family during the marathon. I tested it out before the big day and it worked well. Charged up as described. Follow the directions putting it on and taking it off, slide it in or out, do not tilt or force or you could damage your phone beyond repair. I like that the batter is not constantly on, you turn it on when needed. I left my phone get to about 50% before I turned on the pack and it charged the phone back to 100% fairly quickly though since I was concentrating on getting through the race, I do not recall exactly how long. My phone lasted through the race, though my Garmin did not, it died at 24 miles. One small negative is that this does, of course, add weight to the phone. On one hand, I do not mind because it makes the phone feel less vulnerable to breaking, but on the other, I like it being light and fitting easier into the small across the body bag that I wear. The larger issue would be that you can not use wireless charging with the case on. It must be plugged in. This would not be so much of an issue for me except I purchased the magnetized phone mount for my car so I can use GPS and it can not be use with the cover on, so I will be using this charging cover for special times when I know I need the additional support. I had no problems with this item and would recommend it if you need the additional power. It’s a shame for as much as we pay for iPhones, and the Apple Watch, that they do not offer the best battery life and purchases of this type are required. But fortunately, this one was a good choice.

I am constantly on my phone, and with this, I can go an entire day without having to charge my phone. It's a heavy product, but you actually get used to it quickly. It also acts as a protective case quite well. I've dropped my phone several times, and the screen hasn't suffered any damage as a result. The quality of this is where I have issues. Don't expect this to have a long life. I purchase one of every 7-8 months because the battery stops fully charging. Also, sometimes the mag charger doesn't work. Every so often, for no apparent reason, the phone will charge and stop continually every 10 seconds or so. Also, you need to be careful of the 6-pin that goes into your phone from the battery pack, as that is pretty fragile and can bend pretty easily. If they could clean up those issues then this would be a 5-star product.
