Product Description 10 Down is an elegant new card game of sequence and set collecting with a classic feel. On your turn, draw and discard to improve your hand. First objective: create a Run of 1 to 10. Second objective: create Color Runs of 3 or more. Call “10 Down” with a Run of 1 to 10 and that’s a hand worth 1 point. Earn bonus points by making Color Runs of 3 or more with the same 10 cards. Call your hand right away or press your luck to improve your Color Runs. It’s up to you. First to 10 points wins. Casual yet strategic How did you come up with the idea for this product? As a kid, designer Odd Hackwelder enjoyed the games Sequence and Rack-o. For 10 Down, his mission was to develop an elegant Rummy-style card game that captures the best parts of these classic games in a compact package. We met "Hack" at the 2014 Essen Spiel board game expo in Essen, Germany. We talked games, sports and food and have become good friends ever since. What makes your product special? Named a "Game of the Year" (Card Games) by Creative Child Magazine. Plays 3 to 5 players, ages 8+ in 20-25 minutes. What has been the best part of your startup experience? Working with 10 Down artist and designer Odd Hackwelder has been a great experience. We are very excited about how the game has turned out. The game has received excellent response so far, from families, casual card players and more hardcore gamers.
