Great bath toy!
I got this for my 2yr old daughter. The second I showed her the toy she lost her mind and started playing with it in the living room. Used it at bath time and it was really a lot of fun for her. Giggling when I sent the pirate off the plank or squirting the octopus. All really cool and will definitely look at other toys from the manufacturer.Out f curiosity I looked at the negative reviews. Like, how can you hate on this thing? Saw one where their kid chewed on the pirate so much the paint came off. So, probably not good to use this as a chew toy. The second thing that sticks out is using the water cannon and sprayer. The sprayer works really well you just brace the coat in your hands when you use it. The canon just kind of flings water. cool idea and the kids aren't spraying water all over the floor in the bathroom.Overall it's a cool toy. Cooler than anything I had in the bath at her age. Looks like it'll hold up if you don't chew on it.

Makes it so my son wants to get in the bath
My 2-year old son had gotten bored of his old toys so I wanted to get him something new. This toy is awesome and he loves to play with it. The cannon and octopus squirt water and he even incorporates his old toys when playing with it.

Good enough
There is a real gap in the market for good quality bath toys so I gave this a go.My little 2 year old girl plays with it but it no where NEAR does the splashes that the picture indicates and you have to pour water into the cannon to make it do a little water “burp” (is how I call it)However the pirate and the boat and the toy is still enjoyable for my daughter and since there isn’t that much choice, I am happy with my purchase

Grandson Loves this toy!
It's a simple ship with a boat and a figure. My grandson places with it in my kitchen sink and has a blast! Silly little toy but so much fun mainly because it's a water toy. The boat docks on the ship where he can put the figure and push it away do now the guy is on the little boat. Great toy!

No
First:the pot inside the oven is supposed to spin. Water does not pour into the pot like it's supposed to, to make it spin.Second:the pot on the stovetop is supposed to bubble water when button is pressed but it can't hold water long enough to see the button effect the water. No locking mechanism for this feature.Third:the sink has a locking mechanism to hold water so the faucet can work. The locking mechanism doesn't seal and just leaks the water out.Fourth:Despite this product having 4 suction cups - you need to have this toy supported by a ledge as well to keep it from sliding down of faucet bottom is used.I would give it zero stars but that's not allowed. So let's say the one star is for the product actually showing up. I don't recommend buying this or even trying to play with it if it was a gift to you. Just put it in the trash.

Send this toy to Davy Jones Locker.
Bought this as a present for my 2 yr old. Aboslutely adorable!!!HOWEVER It wasn't at all worth almost $20 because of serious design flaws. Firstly, I have to hold the ship so it doesnt flop over whenever my son is using the cannon or octopus. Secondly, the "water cannon"..you have to use the dinghy to manually fill it each time before shooting. Wouldve been much better if it drew water from the tub. This repetitive action was aggravating for an adult and almost impossible for a 2 year old. Definitely not worth the very tiny shot of water that comes out. Thirdly, the dinghy tips over immediately and consistantly anytime you put Pete The Pirate in it and Pete ends up floating face down. Only a matter of time before it ends up in the seldom played with bath toy graveyard. Really disappointed. If it hadn't been sooo cute I wouldn't have given it 3 stars.
