I just received this mug and it exceeds my expectations. The familiar and beloved design is gorgeous and well executed. The quality is exceptional, and the blue is so vibrant. I absolutely love it! I have not had a chance to use it yet, but I am sure I will enjoy using it. It arrived boxed and well wrapped in bubble wrap. Perfect for gift giving to all the Blue Italian lovers on your list!

Classy
Good for walking around town or taking around the house. It gets a little warm where the double wall tapers, and its not spillproof, but honestly if you've spilled this thing its probably gonna shatter anyway. You shouldn't buy a 100% ceramic tumbler if you're gonna bang it around.Its classic Spode, very comfy and worth every penny.

Beautiful but ineffective
My home is full of blue and white so when I saw this travel mug, I was delighted. It is beautiful but unfortunately has not kept my coffee any warmer than an open mug. 🥴

Great cup, TERRIBLE (useless) lid
Beautiful cup, but after only 2 months the lid won't stay in at all. I've burnt my hand more times than I can count by just trying to press the lid in. If I do get it on, it pops out, spilling hot coffee.

I treated myself with the fanciest travel coffee cup ever! Besides being completely elegant, it works well too. I have had ceramic travel mugs with lids that leak in the past.
