I absolutely love this!! I thought about getting it a year ago when my son just turned two but I just let putting off getting it. I wish I had just bought it. It’s so easy to use and NO MESS!!!! My three year old loves it so much he wants to put it on by himself. I was worried about it missing spots or going on unevenly but that is not the case at all. We have been using it for a few weeks now almost every day and I can say this is a great quality product!!

I can’t recommend this product enough! My first solar buddy bit the dust over the winter (which was my bad, I failed to wash the sponge before tucking it away for the winter). But, I loved this product so much the first time around, I decided to order another. The added clip clips nicely on to my stroller so it’s never out of reach on our many trips to the pool. The solar buddy works by loading your preferred sun cream into the base and then rolls on and rubs in by the sponge. My kids all prefer sunscreen being applied this way as opposed to the spray stuff. It’s also great for my little guy who hates wearing hats- it’s rubs is easily to his scalp to keep the burns away. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a quick way to add ease to sunscreen application for littles!

Great for application, but gets dirty very easily. This is usage after two weeks. Getting a bottle with metal balls without the foam from DAISO was a better alternative for me.

Great item! The wife and I use it all the time when we go out to the beach, the zoo, theme parks etc. Easy to use and great for the grandkids also. Makes applying and re-applying a breeze.

This is why I wait to make reviews. I thought this was THE BEST invention for having small kids. Sadly if you use any sunscreen that’s even remotely thick it clogs up. I washed it and decided to just use it for runnier sunscreen. The foam still came off by the end of the summer.

This thing saved us during our visit to Universal Epic Universe! It is perfect for touch ups/reapplying throughout the day. For adults for first application, I still recommend using a spray or your hands to apply since this guy is so small. But it's perfect for when you're standing in lines or the bathroom to quickly get on your face, shoulders, and under straps. The carabiner did break pretty quickly, but I still recommend the bundle to get the grippy holder for the solar buddy and then replace the carabiner with a better one

If I could give this zero stars, I would. We trusted this applicator was applying the sunscreen correctly, and by all appearances it did. But every time we used it, we got the worst sunburn of our lives. Do not trust your skin with this applicator. It is false advertising. You will still burn! We used the same sunscreen, and I used the applicator while my husband did not. I used it on one of my children, but not the other. The two of us who used the applicator burnt so bad that we required medical attention. The ones who used the same sunscreen, but did not use the applicator, never burnt.

Love love love this product. Easy to apply. I use for everyone in the family as it spreads the sunscreen evenly. You can use any brand of sunscreen you choose. This is my 3rd summer using.
