I’ve been using this combo for several months now, and they have significantly improved my workflow.The Magic Keyboard 2 is incredibly slim and lightweight, yet feels solid and durable. I have a M1 Macbook Air, but I use it as both a standalone laptop, as well as a desktop (I connect it to 4K TV using HDMI cable - please note that M1 MacBook Air only comes with two USB C hookups, so you will need expanded hubs to hookup to most HD TVs).I had an old Mac mini that, over the years, slowed relative to each new OS upgrade. It is no longer supported from the standpoint of OS...just security upgrades, so I got the M1 MacBook Air as a replacement. I love the new M series chip and the laptop itself. It is a considerable upgrade from Intel. What doesn't work with this setup are wireless keyboard/mouses.For example, I had an existing wireless Logitech MK470 Keyboard and Mouse. It worked, but only to an extent of maybe two feet away, which is not a productive setup. It worked fine with the Mac mini.I tried an upgraded Logitech MX bluetooth combo and while that worked better, reconnecting after power saving shutdowns was not always fluid. Sometimes I had to reboot.So I opted for the Apple Magic Combo and that is working seamlessly. Granted, this is a renewal/refurbished purchase and is cheaper than new (though not cheaper than Logitech - the MX model is expensive), but it is working fine. In point of tact, it is the ONLY product that works in the way I am using it and also works with the Mac mini seamlessly as well.Charges for both last about a week. It takes a few hours to charge each. I only have it for a month, so I cannot judge longer term quality, but, at present, it presented the best solution for how I am using this equipment.As for the laptop, I have always owned Apple equipment, including the original Macintosh. In terms of speed and efficiency, it is an amazing machine. I hope everything last for a few years.

I received my mouse and keyboard today and am so happy with the fast shipping and great quality of the product. Wonderful product and absolutely worth the money for me!

When i use the keypad on my MacBook Pro my right hand palm tends to rest on the track pad which causes all sorts of unwanted things to happen,, from jumping from one place to another in a document to opening an app i didn't' intend to open. This keyboard and mouse were cheap because they were refurbished or whatever they call it. Can't tell at alll that they were every used before by anyone. Light but solid touch on the keys and i'm still getting used to the mouse after working on laptops only for decades. Well worth the cost.

I am happy with the keyboard and mouse - the do appear to be authentic Apple devices and work as expected. The lightening cables, however, were definitely not authentic Apple cables. The inside of the USB end of an Apple lightening cable has 4 gold colored metal connection points, the cables that came with my keyboard and mouse have 4 silver colored metal connection points. The cables also never fully charged the keyboard and mouse and were very difficult to stick into both devices. My Apple lightening cables fit much better into both the keyboard and mouse and fully charged both. Also, the graphic on the supplied cables is darker in color, and not as crisp in appearance as an authentic Apple lightening cable.In general, the price for these devices made them worth it. However, it would have been nice to also get authentic cables - it's always nice to have backups.

I was just telling someone the other day that these are the best investment I’ve made in my remote work for my MacBook, and I truly mean it. Can you get away with other brands? Sure. Will it be as easy? Not at all. The keyboard is practically weightless and so small I can carry it in my work bag with the mouse and laptop. The mouse took some getting used to but if you’re used to Apple products you’ll catch on quickly.

Product seemed to be a perfect choice until I hooked it up and the keyboard did not work correctly. Would not type all letters and delete key did not work. Hooked up old Mac keyboard and it worked fine. Sent it back. Maybe because it was refurbished but I would not buy.

Great keyboard and mouse to use with my MacBook. Now that I have both, I can use my computer hooked up to a monitor, and keep its lid closed. I like the keyboard and mouse.
