Q: Can i replace shea butter with mango butter in diy recipes?

Yes yes yes! I refuse to use shea butter. It stems from an immature grudge against a person. Anyhow, mango butter products have WOWed my customers, friends, and family. Well, most of my family. Some say it's horrible their skin feels dry or the kids hate it or whatever. I don't believe they have used the soaps and lotions I give them to try. Point is, mango butter can substitute shea butter. Do not use it to replace another fat 100%. There are charts available online. Do some research

Mango Butter is expeller pressed from the kernel of the mango fruit. It is then mechanically refined to remove its characteristic pungent odor. Unrefined/Raw mango butter, even though some companies claim to offer it to attract consumers, does not exist for sale as a cosmetic butter - if it did, you could easily recognize it by its pungent odor and will most likely not want it on your body

Q: How much by volume is this? I need 1.5 cups.

I'm not sure if your question is asking in liquid or solid form, but in solid form, I easily had more than 2 cups. I used it to make gifts (I kept one for myself) and it worked out beautifully!

It has a light scent. Honestly I hardly notice it.
