Why did you pick this product vs others?: Thought this would be a fun gift for my husband who eats eggs every morning. However, it turned out to be a seriously great little kitchen tool. We both love the way this makes a clean break in the shell every single time, which makes opening up the eggs a breeze- without any stray shell fragments! As a bonus, the little plate acts to catch any drips after the shell is broken on the raised ridge. It’s almost insane how much we love this quirky little tool. It’s one of those things you don’t know how you lived without once you have it.

I have had this for about a year now, it is absolutely awesome! So much easier to crack eggs on and contains mess when you do so you are not getting egg running down bowls etc. I use it almost daily it has help up very well and washes up in the dishwasher great. I love that it is small too and doesn't take up a lot of room in the cabinet. Plus it comes in lots of great colors! I have loved it so much I am buying it for gifts and telling everyone I know! So if you were unsure about it don't be this is a kitchen must have!

It works so well! It even cracks the little eggs from my neighbors' chickens with ease! I liked mine so well, I ordered two more for my daughters. It cuts down on the mess on the countertop and stove. I just wish the spoon rest was a little bigger.

This is wonderful I’m so glad someone figured out how to crack eggs easily. Now I don’t have to fight with digging the shells out or having to clean up a mess. I’ve always struggled with cracking eggs and now I won’t have that issue anymore thanks to you. Plus, I’m so happy that it was made in the USA and developed by a Veteran! I’ll be purchasing more for family member's and friends.

Simple, works excellent

This amazing! Such a small gadget, but makes me eggstatic! It works wonders and as described. It cracks smoothly, dishwasher safe, and upholds well. I like that I can use it as a spoon rest to have one less dish to wash. I would get so frustrated in the morning when making eggs because I would make a mess or get shells after cracking. This makes my mornings easier, cleaner, and starts my day off right! :) I would highly recommend. I bought for a friend who loves it just as much!

There's really nothing not to like about these clever little do-hickies. I imagine these are just 3D printed, but they're plenty sturdy. Easy to clean. Easy to use. Easily stack. You literally can't whack the egg too hard while using the Crack'em - and if/when you might overdo one, the mess well-contained. All of that and then to find out it's made by a US veteran to boot. This purchase was a bit of a gamble, because its price for delivery to Canada is insanely, stupidly expensive. I would say it cost at least a few hundred times the value of the plastic it’s made from. However, if it lasts several years, it will be worth it in terms of mess not being made and yolks not being broken. It also minimizes the amount of bits of shell that get into the eggs. A skilled chef could probably match the performance of this gadget, but that’s something I don’t even aspire to be. It has been said one should avoid kitchen gadgets that are single-purpose, but this is likely an exception.

I stopped using in because this device was causing more eggshell’s to crack off.
