Works great. Super easy to use. Picture quality is great, and I love the ability to see the video via local WiFi live on my iPhone. Works flawlessly with my Escort Redline 360c and minimizes cables and wiring everywhere. I have a 64gb micro SD card in it and it works fine (manual says max size 32gb). For everyone complaining about the price versus what other manufacturers offer, stop whining.... You are paying for the seamless integration with your Escort product, not for telemetry, g-sensors, gps, etc. If you want a radar detector with one cable, and another totally separate, bulky dash cam device with - by the way - its own, other cumbersome cable, then by all means, save your pennies and go with the other brands! If a seamless look and great picture quality with auto recording capabilities and WiFi to your phone for wireless video download/sharing is what you’re looking for... this camera is for you.My Escort Redline 360c is mounted to my rearview mirror via the Blend Mount kit, and I ordered the additional extend screw for about $5 from Blend Mount and installed the Escort M1 Camera to my existing Blend Mount. Very clean, super compact setup that looks great. I’m also hardwired via a mirror tap, so no wires hanging anywhere.So far, I’m loving this camera.Note: If you don’t already own an Escort radar detector and are looking at this as a standalone dash cam, this it is not for you. This is meant for existing Escort detector owners who want an add-on dash cam.

Our daughter moved to Los Angeles to attend grad school. She already had an Escort radar detector, but given how people drive in SoCal, we thought a dash cam would be prudent. So we purchased this. And it worked fine.An issue is that it is only compatible with the newer magnetic radar detector mount. Our daughter had my older Escort Passport 8500 X50 radar detector with the non-magnetic mount. So I gave her my Escort MAX 3 detector.As a more permanent installation, this combo unit works fine. However, it is a bit of a pain if you take the radar detector down/out of the vehicle each day to prevent theft. You often have to re-aim the camera when placing the combo unit back on the mag mount.Also, the unit is a bit finicky about the memory card. It comes with a 16GB card. But I wanted to give her a 256GB card. After formatting the card and installing, the unit just repeated "Insert SD Card" over and over. So, we left it with the 16GB card.

At this generation it should be at least 2k, 4k would be ideal especially for the price point. Gps integration is great. This does product purchase or ownership does NOT entitle you to Escort LIVE. Massive negative.Would be ideal if;2k or 4k. Amy resolution better enables seeing license plates betterOutside of the drive smarter app reading the camera, what use are the .map files?Speed to access via phone/app is abominable. Have patience. It shouldn’t be that way.Videos are retained on the device, only able to view or download while connected to the device or take the sd card out. Tbh, should have upload to cloud via connected device.I appreciate the pass through of the uniden oem coil cord mute button functionality.

Save yourself the heartache of trying to get this piece of trash to work. The camera seems like it would be great…if you could get it to work. Good luck. It won’t stay connected to your phone, and for some ridiculous reason, uses wifi instead of Bluetooth. App is rage inducing with how worthless it is. Customer service is nonexistent. Half a dozen attempts, including emails, phone calls, and voicemails…not a single response. It’s like they don’t exist…other than to take your money for their awful product that doesn’t work, then do nothing to support their terrible camera and app. Buy something…anything…else.

I really like this product. I love how this dashcam integrates with my existing Escort radar detector. It was very easy to install and operate. Picture quality is good and easy to capture and access. No complaints to report at this time.

That's absolutely amazing, the best thing that Escort could've ever made. Amazing picture quality ans price is reasonable for that product. I would recommend that to everyone.

Edit: Replacement camera arrived, and this one is even worse the the one I had to send back. This will power itself off at random, or stay powered on and not record ( solid green light). Camera always turns on and starts recording when I get in the car, but eventually after driving for awhile will fail. Very expensive camera to have problems with this. AVOIDSeveral problems with this “supposedly” new product. Package arrived, and my first thought was it looked to me like it had been repackaged, so I may have gotten a used one.This will just power itself off at random while I’m driving. It’s not a power cord problem because my Escort Max on the same cord has no issues. Kind of defeats the purpose of a dash cam if it suddenly just turns off on its own.Also I’ll get the occasional message and error that my SD card is full, when it’s actually barely been used. Tried another SD card and got the same error message. I’ve owned dash cams before, and never had problems like this Escort M1 dash cam. It’s also the most I’ve paid for a dash cam, to say I’m very disappointed is putting it mildly.

Liked the fact that it plugs into the 360Max, only 1 power cable required. I only have 1 power port in my Z4 so perfect.Camera works good, nice pic compared to old cam, quirky getting pics on phone, but ok.Super pricey, only complaint

Unlike most plug and play items , this is horrendous to connect to the AP! If your vehicle runs Apple CarPlay it won’t do both. The connection to the Ap is very slow and the Ap itself sucks so far! I am hoping I have something better to say but right now I feel ripped off!The mount isn’t as adjustable as I had hoped . I wish it could be flipped so the camera could go on either side .Tried to return, would not allow a return!
