Ecolite 100#1 Kraft Bubble Mailers Padded Envelopes

I sell a relatively small amount of books on Amazon.com, so when to time can that I ran out of boxes, I decided to buy a few bubble mailers for ease of use. Naturally, I always try to get the best deal on the internet, so I even calculated how much each individual mailer of several different sizes and brands cost. I wanted to spend under 15 bucks, and found that these were the cheapest small quantity of mailers (bulk quantities of mailers are, of course, the overall cheapest per envelope). At around 11 bucks total with shipping(they were cheaper then)they come to about $.40 per mailer.The size seemed a little small, but I have plenty of small books, and even averaged out the sizes of some of my books to make sure they would fit. With this in mind, I ordered them.When the mailers came, I noted that they were sturdy, held together well, and have a very strong glue peel-and-seal. However, when I tried to fit my books in them, most wouldn't fit. They only work with the smallest paperbacks. Even though it says 7.5x12", the inside, is of course, smaller. I took that into account, but they were still too small for most books.Even so, they are good at what they do, and I have no complaints about them, thus the 5-star rating. If you have a lot of smaller books to sell, get these. They are also PERFECT for DVDs (the bigger DVD cases - if you have the small square DVD or CD cases, you should get smaller mailers). If not though, I highly recommend getting 75 Counts Kraft Road Warrior® Mailers Variety Pack - 6 Sizes including #0, #1, #2, #3, #4 and #5 Kraft Bubble Mailers. (SEE UPDATE BELOW) I calculated the cost of these too, and at about .25 cents per mailer with shipping, they are the cheapest bundle of 75 mailers out there, and include enough sizes for all my books. I ordered them a few months ago and they have worked like a dream for me: I can't find a size for only the very, very biggest books! Get the pack of 125 or the 200 pack if you have even more to sell, but if you have less, don't get the pack of 50: it costs almost the same amount and is therefore not nearly as good a deal. The smallest mailers in the 75 pack are a bit smaller than these 25, so you might consider still getting the 7.25x12 pack if you have a lot of small stuff to sell. These ones are also a little bit roomier and more flexible than the ones of this size in the Road Warrior pack, although the variety pack comes with bigger sizes too.UPDATE: The price of the 75 pack seems to have gone up quite a bit, so I recently ordered a 150 pack from Road Warrior. It was about $32 and a MUCH better deal. Why is it that Road Warrior is about the only company selling variety packs?Back to the 25 Kraft Bubble Mailers:Pros:- Sturdy- Cheap for the quantity- Right size for dvds and small books- Glue is very strongCons:- Too small for most books, even if your book is 7x11 inches (also, books over 1" in thickness have a hard time fitting)- Not that cheap compared to larger quantityThere you have it: I can say from experience: if you have a few smaller books, dvds, or other items under 7x12 inches and quite thin, get these, otherwise the Road Warrior mailers are the way to go. :)

i ship or will be constantly shipping, so i might as well get some durable bubble mailers! AND THESE WERE GREAT! i got them for an INCREDIBLE price of 12 dollars! which is wonderful and cheap! but with the expensive price of shipping, which was fine by me! it made a total of $18 STILL a very low price! THATS ONLY 18 CENTS EACH! very durable, work great, and have a large capacity, you can probably fit all your shipping needs in here!

These are awesome. Although some other buyers appear to have had problems, I have had nothing but positive experiences. The size is more than enough for a standard DVD case; you could probably squeeze 2-3 slimline or Blu-Ray cases in there without trouble. The adhesive sealed great and I had no concern that it might open in transit. Great price; even with shipping, the cost per envelope was half what I was paying locally.

Sealing glue is weak, so you'll want to add a bit of tape over the flap. Not a big deal for me, but duly noted. Other than that, these look and perform fantastic. Quite happy with the price and quality.

EXCELLENT product! We've ordered this product three (3) times and have been EXTREMELY happy each time. The two main factors that moved us to by the first time was PRICE and USABLE INSIDE DIMENSIONS. We've ordered other manufacturer's Kraft #1 envelopes and their usable inside width is only 7" or perhaps 7 1/8", and the way we package our DVDS makes it a tight, tight fit. With these envelopes that extra 1/8" or 1/4" makes all the difference for an easy insertion for us, and more importantly, an easy removal by the customer. These envelopes have GREAT strength, the bubble-wrap (padding) inside is excellent, the glue on the Flap holds GREAT and the protective strip is easy to remove, and we really like that the Flap is large. The PRICE has always been one of the lowest.We highly recommend these envelopes and we'll be back again and again!

All I can say is that these lived up to my hopes. Shipped quick and the mailers are exactly what I needed. I'm selling off about 25 dvd's (probably more in the future) and I didn't want to keep picking up those 5 pack of Scott's bubble mailers at Wal-mart. They were about .50 cents each, but these are just as good and way more affordable. Mailed 5 dvd's so far, all arrived perfectly, and best of all the extra inch you get help the dvd's slide in easier is very nice,without giving too much wiggle room. Worth the buy.

Shipping books

I work at a radio station and we use these mailers to send out CDs and books. I love the size as it can hold several CDs without a problem and it is great for books as well. I have had no trouble sticking labels to it. It closes well and cleanly. Great product.
