Waterproof Nano Cache - Black

I like this cache container a lot, it's almost exactly as described except that the magnet is pretty weak, it holds the cache in place but you don't want to put it someplace that might vibrate or get brushed or bounced. I've definitely found caches with much stronger magnets than this one.OTOH - it's not often you'd be placing a cache in a high-vibration environment, so does it really matter?

SO small. exactly what we were looking for. Bottom is magnetic and holds well. No room for much beyond the supplied rolled up log strip. If you expect your cache to be very busy, you will have to upkeep your strip often. O-ring seems sufficient in keeping contents dry, but I'll check again after our Michigan winter thaws out this spring.

like other have sayed the image is deciving i thought it was going to be the size of a film roll canaster and it is smaller than the tip of my finger and smaller than a pin cap but no big deal lots of places i can hide it may by some more

I ordered three of these because the price was good and it was an easy add-on to other things I was getting on Amazon.These look great, have a good finish, and seem to seal really well. They only come with one log (the ones from geocaching.com come with spares).My only complaint (but a fairly decent one) is the actual log holder in the cap. It seems to have a manufacturing defect where the edge has a slight lip which digs into the log. When I got them, all three made it impossible to remove the log. It is almost like it is reverse-barbed, you can wiggle it back and forth and get it slowly out, but if you move IN even slightly it will go all the way back in. I was finally able to use a sharp knife to carve down the edges to the point I can get the log out, but it is tough. I will not be buying any more of these, which is a shame since it is such a tiny defect.

This is my favorite kind of cache... usually where everyone can see it and NO one knows that they are.

With caches this small, you can place caches in all kinds of evil spots. It came with an extra log and the threads worked great. Thanks.
