FlexSweep Unbreakable Commercial Push Broom 24" Extra Coarse STREET SWEEPER

This is one nice and hefty broom. After breaking one of my Libman brooms, which lasted only four years (handle broke from the base), I decided to try a more expensive one. . .and I am surely glad I did.I've used this on cement, wood (decking), and patio blocks with no issues. And as for the particulate matter I swept, it includes: sand, dirt, gravel, rocks, grass clippings, pine needles, leaves. . .and snow.When we would get a light dusting of snow, I would use this broom instead of a shovel on our cement stoop and cement slab at the front of our house and garage. This broom brushed it all off, and well, and worked much better than a shovel ever would have.The only issue I had, which was only once, and it was minor, was that one of the screws loosened a little; but that might have been because I didn't screw it in tightly enough to begin with. I just easily tightened it back up.One problem I can foresee with this particular broom is if you aren't in the best of shape--for whatever reasons. Compared to other brooms, this one is hefty, and so if you don't have much strength or endurance, this broom could be a little much for you. However. . .if you aren't in shape and want some exercise, using this broom certainly will help with that. . .And for those of you who like detailed specifics:The total weight of the broom is 6 lbs., while the total length is approximately 63 inches with almost 58 of those inches being the handle and five for the height of the base (bristles are four inches high and are attached to a one inch thick wood block).The handle is an almost one inch diameter aluminum tube (hollow) which is attached to the base via two screws. It is not like most other brooms where the handle twists on to the base. There is a rubber/plastic adapter that is attached to the handle and that is then attached to the base with two strong screws. This design makes the broom much more durable.The base is about 5 inches high, three inches deep on top (top of wood block) while the bottom is four inches deep because of how the bristles flare out. And for the total width, it is 24 inches (little wider at the bottom because of how the bristles flare out).Overall, this is one outstanding broom. Whatever you need pushing. . .it will do so, and without fail. . .unless you are using it for something unreasonable, or something other than sweeping. . .**Update**I've had this broom for almost two years now. . .and it has held up well. I've used it practically year around and with almost any job where I needed to push or clear some kind of debris. It is simply the best broom I've ever had. The only broom job I won't use this for is cleaning the snow off of vehicles. Being that the bristles are so coarse, they would probably scratch those surfaces. The bristles are showing a little wear, and a few of them have frayed outward and a few have fallen out, but for how much I've used this broom, that is to be expected. Overall, this broom still is in very good shape. I posted several photos so you can get a better idea of the dimensions and construction of the boom. I should, add, so to avoid any confusion, since I bought mine, the seller has upgraded the screws that hold the handle to the base: appears to have made it easier to attach and fixed the issue where the screws would loosen in time, which was an issue I had with mine. Still rate this a five star product.

I wanted a highly durable broom for my garage and this broom was perfect.

Durable and rugged

This broom goes down as one of the best decisions of my life, not sure what that says about many other decisions, LOL! however this thing is super sturdy, works great for the deck and patio with amazing efficiency and has a built in scraper on the back so you can flip over and scrape an area. This will never be an issue for someone and seeing many of the other deck brooms and using many, this is definitely the best! The only thing that would be cool is if they made a lower width head option so you could use the same broom just reduce the width to get into smaller areas. Otherwise, this is a great broom!

I love this broom and is everything I was looking for! I wanted a sturdy broom to sweep my concrete garage and driveway and this works perfectly. It's very sturdy and durable and sweeps super well. I love that it's Made in the USA too. That is so hard to find these days but I know it will be good for a long time! Definitely would recommend this and it's very much worth the price.

Two tracking/warehousing labels were attached to the shaft of the broom with permanent adhesives. It's only cosmetic, but it's a nuisance since I'll probably either end up pulling them off and having goo in that spot for months, or I'll leave them there and it'll be an uncomfortable grip.Other than that, it's a great pushbroom. No complaints on performance or ergonomics. Keep in mind this is an industrial push broom. It's not light. If you want something light you don't want this. The weight is where it should be.

The BEST broom for any job site! We bought one to see how they were vs the cheap menards ones. They were amazing maybe a bit higher priced but your not replacing it every month. We now only purchase these brooms for our crews. The broom is slightly heavier but you getting a good arm work out while cleaning so it’s all worth it. All in all this will be the only broom we ever purchase!!

A tad on the heavy side but the extra weight really helps. This broom is fantastic! Waiting for the smaller one to be back in stock for my sons.
