I don't use these when I'm blow drying which is part of the intended use. I just like them to detangle long hair. They do it with what seems to be minimal pain in agony even if your hair is fairly knotted. They also conformed the scalp in the softer bristles make it feel like a massage on your scalp. Nothing to dislike about these other than the fact that they should have a hole in the end so you can hang them in a shower if you want to. However that's easy to add with a drill and a drill bit.

I bought my first Epic Professional hair brush at Costco about 7 years ago. I have thick medium long hair. My Epic Professional hair brush never broke. It did not damage my hair. The bristles never came off. I used it every day on wet and dry hair. I lost it on a camping trip to Yosemite National Park. I was elated to find it on Amazon! My granddaughter told me to buy this product because she has one & loves it. I was skeptical but bought one. I am glad I did. Good product to brush out wet hair. I have shoulder length hair & this brush is easy &gentle on wet hair. I would buy this hair brush again. Reasonable priced.

These hair brushes are AMAZING! So far I've had 3 of them, and they've all been wonderful. My last one lasted a good 3 years (the first only lasted 1 year, so the quality has gone up), and while the bristles definitely got floppy after year 2, the brush still worked fine. Even after losing 1/4 of its bristles over the last eight months, I've kept using it daily because it still works. I love these brushes so much, and I really hope the manufacturer doesn't change the design to something worse or stop making them altogether. While I rarely use this hair brush to dry my hair, I love how quickly and gently it works out any tangles or snags, and using it before a shower usually means I don't have to deal with tangles after. Note: My mom prefers her typical boar-bristle-style brush to this one. While I would happily recommend it to anyone, I do have to recognize that everybody is going to have a different preference, and that this may not be the best brush for everyone. If you, like me, have a relatively tender scalp, this may be the brush for you; but if you have a scalp of stone like my mom's you may prefer something tougher.

Item took longer to receive but this is my favorite brush and one I recommend to everyone!
