CableCreation USB Audio Adapter External Sound Card with 3.5mm Jack and Mic

I was skeptical but this worked exactly like it promises and I was thankful for it. Easy peasy to use. I literally plugged it in and connected the in and out ports and the computer handled the rest.

I have a unique mission for this guy. I have an awesome monitor that has built in thunderbolt so it can power my M1 MBP while also being the main display and running a few peripherals via USB. Yes Bluetooth would have been an option but I wanted to be able to switch between my personal laptop and my work laptop with a single cable. It was fine but audio was the one thing I had to plug in separately. Well not anymore!!! It sounds no different then it did before. So glad it worked. It took me a few seconds to get working. Of course I’m going to organize and clean up all the wires. Just wanted to show it working.

It works but creates a fairly loud static noise throughout - and that makes it unusable. Will be returning it. Update 1/6/2018 - Changed from 2 stars to 4 stars thanks to their excellent customer service, but doesn't justify the fact that the product still doesn't exactly work for what I intended for (PS4 to Logitech Z313 external speaker).

I have been searching for at least a year and a half for a microphone that works. I wanted one for a speaker I had for my summer job. Sadly, that lasted a few weeks. Once we all had to stay in quarantine, I was asked to teach my fitness classes virtually. I searched again and the microphone I purchased only had a splitter. With Macs there is no special microphone slot. When I used it, it thought I constantly had headphones in. I did my research and found this amazing product! I was praying this USB splitter would work and make it so I could use the microphone AND hear my computer speaker as well. It works GREAT so far! I was able to teach my class outside and my clients could hear me clearly. It is so nice not to yell! I recommend for people using Zoom it making videos.

Maybe it's just this one but the digital output seems 'choppy' and I am unable to use it. Very nicely made though! **edit** I don't know what the problem was but it seems to work fine now. This after I bought another product..of course. But this is nice metal case, gold plated connector for USB. Having the electronics on a short cable like this takes a lot of strain off your USB port as opposed to the 'cableless' versions. So why did it not work before. Well, lots of variables but I changed ports, connectors, cables, etc. and I can't seem to make it break! So I think you can ignore the previous (original) post. What I must say though is that because of my original low rating, CableCreation contacted me right away and wanted to get to the bottom of the problem. You just don't find this very often for a <$10 product. But I sure won't hesitate to order from them again. Thanks!

The build quality is nice and works like it should but don’t expect 24 bit audio out of this thing, you’ll only get the max of CD quality audio.

I used this for months while I fixed my computer's headphone jack. Its a lifesaver when you work with serious sound applications... not as far to say as this would replace and audio interface for recording professionally, nor that it will be a pocket sized studio... not at all. This just does what it needs to do (get sound out and in of any pc or device which carries very generic universal sound drivers) and do it very well, while being a tank and resisting lots of physical abuse.

My g-byte motherboard is a real challenge to get the sound card on the MB to work with Linux and this is an issue with this manufacturer. It took me about 15 minutes to setup and use this USB dongle. No more hum from the speakers due to ground loops, etc. This thing is absolutely quiet when not playing music. Fidelity is pretty good with these old ears. It even works with the keyboard sound controls.

恐らくパソコンのサウンドボードのエラーで音が出なくなったので、ブルートゥースレシーバーからワイヤレススピーカーに出力していましたが、音飛びが激しくてストレスでした。サウンドボードを交換しようと探していたら、この製品を見つけて購入。 何の設定もなく今まで使っていたスピーカーから音が出たので本当に良かった。 小さい製品なのに、外付けサウンドボードみたいな働きなんでしょうか？昔では考えられない製品ですね。

Needed to replace a non-compliant Windows 10 audio card, could have used an internal card but it was just easier as my client is 9 hours round trip away. It was just easier for him to plug this in to a USB port and plug his speakers into the dongle. Worked like a charm.

This little blighter got my shotgun mike working with my MacBook. All else had failed, so very pleased.
