PiYAA Naturals Vitamin C Facial Serum, 1 oz

I love that the serum is "clean" in ingredients and contains no synthetics, yet I doubt that this product contains much vitamin C at all. I noticed the lack of acidity the first time using it, as I have tried other C serums in the past and worked in natural skincare for a number of years. The pH of this product is a 9 (the scale goes up to 11 and acidic is anything below a 7), meaning that this product is A BASE and there is very little acidity at all, which there should be for a C serum. The product should be at least a 5-6--at least. I tested the product's acidity with a pH strip (see photo). I am giving the serum only two stars because of this issue. This product is marketed as a C serum, but I doubt that the vitamin C content is true to what the label and ingredient list claims. It seems that the product is primarily water and botanical extracts, which would be fine if that is what I thought I was ordering. Such a bummer! I feel that my money was wasted.

Still too early to know the final results of using this serum since I've only used it a couple weeks.But the texture is good and absorbs well into my skin. I use it on my face, neck, and chest. Makemy skin ready for moisturizer, Seems good so far. The smell is a little peculiar, but I can get pastthat. Will reorder if good results continue as I use the rest of the bottle.

I love that this also has the ferulic acid & vitamin E in it, in addition to the vitamin C. I'm not in love with the smell, but I can handle it, when I think about what I'm getting for the price. I've paid $$$ for similar serums that didn't smell so great either. This is every bit as effective is the pricier serums, so may as well save some money while saving my skin! I do wish it was slightly thicker, because it's pretty runny, but again, for the price & what you get, I can deal with it.

I have only ever tried the Mad Hippie brand of vitamin C drops before this product, and compared to that one, the PiYAA brand is far superior. I do not use it as consistently as I should (sometimes only 3 times a week), and it still significantly faded hyper-pigmentation from acne almost to point where it is barely even noticeable. Just remember to store it a dark place in refrigerator while you are not using it. I will buy this brand again once I finish the bottle.

Read some reviews and they said this might not be an authentic vitamin C but to me at least I feel good and that is the important thing. I can literally feel my skin is smoother and brighter everytime i use it (my face is usually red). The serum is very light and well absored.I tried other serum and i felt like putting gel on my face so I just come back to this one and I think I will stick with this.

It is lighter than other serums I have used. It is too soon to tell how effective it will be, but it feels good on my skin, smells good, and is far less expensive than other serums.

This product has really impressed me. I've seen a difference in my skin, and it works really well. I would recommend this vitamin c over many I have used in the past.

L'aspect de ma peau grasse s'est beaucoup amélioré en 3 semaines. Les pores sont moins dilatés, ma peau est plus nette, plus belle. Mes ridules se sont atténués ainsi que mes taches d'acné.
