Tool Boxes Come in Other Colors than Black or Red!
What a great tool box for woman! It completely matched my color scheme and since I just moved into an apartment that has no drawers in the bathroom, I am using it on my closet shelf for all my makeup and nail items. The drawers are top quality sliding easily and the top closes down with secure wire clips. You could easily place your own small padlock on it if you needed to keep someone from opening it. I did purchase separately heavy plastic shelf lining that I cut and fit into the two drawers and top lid areas to keep my items from rolling around. I know this isn't a routine item to use for these purposes, but it certainly would make a great tool box for crafts or even for children for small items so that they can keep them picked up. Oh, I absolutely love the color and the price was extremely good too for the quality build of this box!

I'm genuinely impressed
I'm not a big supporter of Amazon Basics products, but other metal toolboxes in this price range weren't really long enough to accommodate my Kobalt hammer. I have one of starter tool kits in a soft roll up case that I hate more than anything, and the tools I've acquired apart from that kit live in an old wooden wine crate. I'm long overdue for buying a proper toolbox. This thing is quite roomy. Quite heavy too, but it's apparent when you hold it; it's sturdy. The tracks for the drawers glide smooth as butter. The finish is nice too; this doesn't look like it will chip easily. As others have mentioned, the lid acts as a locking mechanism for the drawers and must be opened first. The clasps to secure the lid are designed to accommodate small locks, which wasn't a feature I was looking for but found thoughtful. I can also see those clasps being a nuisance as they are longer than the top drawer and require you to hold them up to push the drawer back in. This thing is going to live in my closet so I'm not too concerned about it, but if this was my work toolbox I might feel mildly inconvenienced by them. The "Amazon Basics" sticker was easy enough to remove and didn't leave a residue. I hope to spend many years outfitting this thing with my own stickers. My only concern is the handle. It looks sturdy enough, but this toolbox is already quite heavy. The specs on this says the maximum weight recommendation is 100lbs, and I don't think I have 100lbs worth of tools nor do I think you could fit 100lbs worth of tools inside of this (at least not the types of tools I'd expect anyone who buys this would use it for).Overall I'm genuinely impressed with this toolbox, and cautiously optimistic about the handle. I think someone else mentioned it in their review, but I'll look to add some contact paper or rubberized / textured mats to the inside of the drawers so hopefully my tools won't slide around too much while I'm transporting it.

Less expensive toolbox
It's a pretty good toolbox. The latches get caught in the top drawer.

Nice quality
Size:Needed something to organize small tools. Works well and the color pops out easily so I don't miss place it!

The drawers are supposed to be hard to open.
This is not a carry around toolbox. This is a small Workbench toolbox. If it fits all your tools you do not have enough tools.Like a bigger bench tool box you must open the top to open the drawers. The latches do have the talent of getting in the way of the top drawer and lid at the same time. If you can't figure out how to position the latches after a few times you should probably not be allowed to use sharp tools. To those saying the drawers are hard to open, yah that is how it is supposed to be. Open the top, put your thumb against the box, and pull with your fingers, Just like you would with much more expensive box.If it didn't latch and lock so well the drawers would open if you were actually carrying it.I'm buying a second one and my wife wants one for office supplies. My only real complaint is that Amazon needs to add shelf liners.

Meh, It's Okay
I needed an inexpensive set of mini drawers on my workbench to store all of my various screwdriver bits and similar tiny things. First challenge: There's a mechanism that prevents the drawers from coming out with the lid closed, which is pretty annoying in my use case. The first thing I did was open the hinged top lid, take a nail set, and punch out the pin that holds that mechanism together. Then you can remove the component that keeps the drawers from opening. The drawers move relatively smoothly, but they feel kind of cheap. You can feel the sheet metal flex a little, and one of the drawers isn't completely square when closed. (The left side of the drawer sticks out a little more than the right side) I guess I can't complain for the price, but I wouldn't buy it again. As others have mentioned, the locking latches for the hinged lid interfere with the top drawer when they're open, which is also annoying. They're constantly in the way. The first mod I did was reversible, but I'm hesitant to dismantle the latches, as then it will be a permanent bench top fixture. The color is also kind of ugly in my opinion, and the finish doesn't seem very durable, but I bought it for its functionality. There are better similarly priced options available now that would serve my use case better, (at a well known discount tool store) but I'm okay enough with it.

Good capacity and seems well built
I had a shabby old plastic toolbox in my garage and wanted one with more capacity and better looks. I am very pleased with this one. The drawers lock in place if they are pushed all the way in before closing the lid. That is necessary if you wish to lock it up. The upper drawer can be difficult to shut because the hasps of the latches hang down into the path of the drawer. However this is a minor inconvenience.

Love!
I love it! Needed a simple toolbox for household tools and this is well worth the price.
