Moderate to loud tick. I have some hearing loss and can still hear it, so it can't be too quiet! Out of the four watches I own, all different ones, this is next to the loudest.

Q: Is it OK to wet the leather strap? I mean, if it's an outdoor watch, it can get wet anytime. Does the strap not get ruined?

I wear mine kayaking, canoeing, swimming, etc. It gets a bit slimy when wet so I usually take it off to dry afterward. It will not due the leather any favors but I still make it last for a couple of years. I then buy a new leather watch band when It gets too worn.

Mine is mineral crystal. I can tell by tapping on it and the sound it makes.

Terrific purchase!

Probably your best small dial watch out there in this budget (6.2 in wrist here), super clean, amazing strap, and indiglo. This has become my go to everyday watch. You might not get the satisfaction of hitting all the markers precisely throughout but for a watch under 4k, totally worth it.

Perfect size for someone with thin wrists.

I have been a TIMEX Indiglo fanboy for decades now. Even though I had upgraded to smart watches of the likes of Apple Watch & Samsung Galaxy, I eventually landed up having these TIMES Indiglo on my wrist most of the times in conjunction with MI Smart Band) on my other wrist.Needless to say for those who know... The INDIGLO is a soothing light for your eyes when in the dark.
