“Are these thick and sturdy or somewhat flexible?”

Flimsy - very flimsy… has no rigidity to it, actually bends under its own weight if you hold it on one end, which says something about how thin it is. Certainly won’t hold a straight line if you are looking at this product for clipper over comb, or scissor over technique.

Is this good for kids with fine easily tangling hair?

Our clipper combs are used by barbers to create various styles and to aid in the cutting/trimming process. The teeth are closely spaced which makes it good for fine hair.
