Transformation: Understanding the Three Levels of Masculine Consciousness

Short but interesting
I’ve read almost all of the author’s works and have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. This one is no exception, although it is rather short and includes a lot of summary of the related classic works of literature. I am definitely a fan of his style as well as Jungian-inspired theory. He writes in a very easy to follow, relatable way that consistently holds this reader’s interest. I highly recommend this author’s whole body of work, especially We, He, She, and Ecstasy, possibly in that order. Love his use of literature and mythology in his analyses. This author is inspirational and profound.

Personal Trasformation in a Nutshell
Like most of Johnson's work, it's short, sweet, and profound. Johnson has a great idea here. He shows the reader the different stages of life through literature, starting with Don Quixote, then Hamlet, and finally Faust. Johnson does a great job of weaving Jungian perspective into the literature he's critiquing. I couldn't put it down and finished it in an afternoon. I just wish it was longer.

Robert A Johnson is one of my favorites
The seller must have shipped this the day I ordered because it arrived quickly and was in perfect condition. Read this book in one sitting. I have several of Robert A Johnson's books which all bring me into a space of deep thought. I recommend his books to anyone who is interested in self-reflection and 'seeing' yourself and the world through new eyes. As I read, I kept reflecting on our current situation in the USA and how we ever got into the situation we were in over the last four years. I recommend this book and this seller.

Life wisdom from a master
First off, Robert Johnson is a GENIUS at applying Jungian philosophy to life's crises moments, especially using common myths and fairy tales as guides to our critical tests and passages to growth. I loved his treatment of the male challenges in "He", the female in "She", and the idea of the Power Couple, greater than the sum of its parts, in "We". This one is more subtle, and will need more time to process, but full of his sublime life wisdom. This man gets Jung better than Jung. His insights into the human condition ring as true or better, than Shakespeare at his best.

Made For Male Midlife Journey
This book should be required reading for every man going through youth to mid life to the "twilight years" Alfred Korbizki said "The map is not the territory. "This book is the territory In writing my first novel NO ENTRY I used all of Dr. Robert Johnson's great books. this one, Owning Your Shadow, We, She, He and sent him a copy of NO ENTRY when published with my thanks. He replied with a nice note from the Canadian woods and a four leaf clover !!!!.

Good book for men in "who am I?" Mode.
Great book for men to read but also applies to women, quick read and very insightful. Especially for those in the midst of a midlife crisis. .

Love it
I really like the author’s short books. Lot of value in them and a lot to absorb. I’ve bought many of them in one week.

Another Great Robert Johnson Book
Robert Johnson writes tiny books, each with profound wisdom. This one is probably the best. It has moved me deeply.

Simple and brilliant!
I find the author's style of writing to be very accessible and hypnotic - I found it hard to put the book down.In my opinion this book is simply a masterpiece in explaining the human condition and the evolution of our consciousness. Profound and deeply insightful, yet presented in a way that is accessible to everyone.

the stages of your life
like We, He, She, this book from Robert A. Johnson presents a concise thesis for ideas that can help (men) on their journey through life. Like all ideas (and books for that matter) - you have to make the integration of his ideas and concepts into those that make the closest sense for you. Transformation describes the "stages" of a man (person) can go through during their life - this is more of an explanation of what is possible - if you are ready to make the necessary inner journeys that lead to deeper personal growth.
