Easy Assembly, Excellent Quality, Wonderful design.
I purchased these 2-chairs along with a matching 42-inch round "kitchenette" table, all from the Winsome Wood folks. The table has not yet arrived. I held off buying 4-chairs for a couple of reasons: First, I was not sure if the quality of the table or chairs warranted getting 4-chairs. Second, until I see the table, which has not yet arrived, I won't know if I can comfortably fit them all in my kitchen area. The chairs are all solid wood - no veneers - no plywood. The back of the chairs is a smart design, where by the legs are integrated into the back. Makes the chairs more sturdy. There are gliders already placed in the feet of the chairs. There are several supporting side-braces. A few words of advice for assembly: The instructions are mostly pictorial in nature, obviously trying to accomplish with "pictures" rather than 1000-words. They mostly met their goal. I figured it out. Here is what I did that made it easier - which is not clear from the drawings: Each brass bolt, requires a split washer, then a flat washer. Then you put the long, medium, or short bolt into the appropriate hole. If you put all the split washers on their bolts, then the flat washers, the diagrams become far easier to understand. Next, I GLUED the holes and dowels. It is NOT called for, but; I did it anyway. I also put some glue on the corners where the front legs meet the seat of the chair. You don't need a LOT. A thin layer on each "side" where they will meet, or in the hole, and on the end of the supporting dowel. I applied these thin layers of wood glue using q-tips. You can tighten the 6-bolts that hold the seat to the back legs and back of the chairs "right away". Do not over tighten them - they are BRASS. That means they are soft. A Snug tighten is all you need at first. When putting the the other bolts in for the front legs, be sure to ONLY tighten them by hand w/o the hex key wrench, and leave, literally, some "wiggle" room. You'll need this to get the supporting dowels in correctly. I recommend you put the long end of the hex-key wrenches into the bolts and hold onto the short ends. It will help you avoid over tightening. And, when you hear the wood "CREEK", or the bolt suddenly gets HARD TO TURN, at the end of a turn, stop! Turn it maybe 1/4-to-1/2-turn more, and then you're done. When ALL the bolts are tight, and the chair seems fully assembled, then take the wrench to each bolt once more, to make sure they are all "creek" tight. Finally, using a piece of duct tape, I taped one of the wrenches under the seat of one of the chairs, for future need for re-tightening - if it is ever needed. If the table is as well designed, and of the same quality, my opinion is, for the money, you cannot go wrong. I got the table, and 2-chairs, from PRIME, for $250-including all taxes and shipping. A perfect example of superior Amazon Prime quality products.

Well made with some very nice design touches
I was surprised at the quality of these chairs. They are solid wood with no false veneers. The finish is complete and even and the design is perfect – for instance, the front and rear legs curve out out a tiny bit and add an eye-pleasing touch to the design. The back slats are solid and curved and thick. The seats are not flat and have a slight carved depression inj them for comfort. Because of the solid wood, the chairs are pretty hefty and have a real quality feel to them. I would guess that they weigh about 14 pounds each. Nice touch: the legs have plastic gliders attached to them. Assembly is straightforward with pictorial instructions and it is important to group the different sized bolts together for easy reference before you start. Two boxes of bolts and washers were in the package and scared me at first because it looked like the box I opened was missing some hardware – but when I opened the second box, I found that all the hardware was actually complete. In fact, there were a couple of spare bolts and washers included. Assembly time was about 20 minutes for the first chair (this included verifying the hardware and getting familiar with instructions) and ten minutes for the second chair. They supply a ball-ended hex key tool for assembly and it allows you to tighten some of the bolts at an angle where the clearance is a little tight. Good thinking on the manufacturer's part! The only other tool you'll need is a phillips head screwdriver to install the wood screws in the rungs on the bottom the the chairs. As noted in other reviews, make sure to loosely fasten the legs in the beginning so that you have plenty of clearance to insert the rungs before tightening. And don't over tighten – just make sure the bolts are nice and firm. Overall, a really nice couple of quality chairs. Well, made with some very nice design touches.

Great, sturdy chairs - assembly is straight forward except the screws didn't go in all the way. My floors are a bit uneven so I pried the bumpers out of the legs and replaced with Shepherd Swivel glides (I pre-drilled before nailing in)

Las sillas están bien hechas, faciles de armar y se ven resistentes. El color es un poco más rojizo, como el de las fotos de la descripción de producto, pero las voy a pintar así que no me afectó en nada. En general muy buen producto.

Excellent, solid kitchen chairs at a reasonable price. Easy to assemble. As another reviewer noted, it helps to have a rubber mallet handy, and I highly recommend assembling them with glue, although it is not required. I used Gorilla construction adhesive, rather than wood glue, as it fills gaps better and is easy to clean up squeeze-out with a damp rag. I also changed the floor bumpers on the legs - they are made of hard plastic, and I was concerned they might mark hardwood floors. It was easy to remove them and replace them with SuperSlider pads. Good looking, solid chairs.

I highly recommend a rubber mallet for getting the rails in as well as a power drill for putting the screws in. Nice and sturdy. Mine were quite a bit dusty inside the packaging which is fine. A bit if an odor of the stain but went away quickly.
