High quality.
I loved the aroma that escaped when I opened the package. The beans were plump and moist. In six months I will have the loveliest bottle of extract. You will not be disappointed in this product.

Wonderful, fragrant vanilla beans!
I received 29 lovely, fragrant, and pliable vanilla beans, very nicely vacuum sealed. I split 9 of them to replenish my ongoing "fifth" bottle of vanilla that has been in existence for about 6 years. I sealed the remaining 20 for later use. First time buying this brand, and quite happy with the quality, aroma, and value of my beans. I sent the same package to my daughter, to keep her batch going, as well. Some might think it's controversial, but I use spiced rum to make my vanilla. It gives it a little head start, for the same cost as vodka or white rum, and we love the results! (Sam's Club Member's Mark Spiced Rum is what I use. Very good flavor, very reasonable cost! )

As described and good for extract purposes.
These were a good buy for the price. The beans were definitely grade B as described. The beans were small and thin with little to no caviar. If you're looking for beans to scrape caviar from, these are not those beans. That said they were also soft and flexible, not dry and brittle as some grade B beans I have received from other sellers. They had a nice odor, although it was not too strong and not as floral as hoped for with Tahitian beans. Package was vacuum sealed on arrival and no mold. I was looking for extract beans so these suited their intended use for me.Kudos to the Amazon driver who delivered these beans! It was Very windy the day these came and the Amazon driver was thoughtful and put this very light package under my heavy outside doormat so they didn't blow away. Great service!

5 month review
This is my 3rd review on the extract grade B beans. I’ve made 4 purchases of 2 ounce beans. 3 were Madagascar and 1 was Tahitian. In my earlier reviews I explained that the 1.75 bottle needs 4 ounces of beans and this holds true. I just recently did a taste test comparison with a bottle of extract I started in January, and a store bought bottle I’ve been using. The store bought bottle was slightly darker ( barely noticeable) but the bottle I started had a more robust flavor and smell at the 5 month mark. I will continue to allow it to step until November. The beans that I opened today ( 2 ounce Tahitian 2 ounce Madagascar) both had a wonderful smell. The Tahitian beans were noticeably larger and more plump. But for what the Madagascar beans lacked in size they more then made up for in aroma as they were clearly the more fragrant of the two. I know this review was a bit long but I wanted to give a good explanation of my experience as I go down this journey and I hope it helps someone who may be thinking of trying it themselves.

Great for making your own vanilla extract
Tired of paying exorbitant prices for pure vanilla extract? Then make your own instead. It will take about six months, but the wait will be worth it. These are very fresh and flavorful beans. Split about 3-5 beans open and put in an 8-oz bottle of vodka and shake for a few seconds once every week or two.Doesn't require the most expensive liquor, and I bought a case of "swing-top" bottles here on Amazon.com (9 @ $2 ea) and a 1.75 liter bottle of Sam's Club ($13) vodka to make 4 bottles of extract. After two months, I've got very nice extract on the way. (I also bought Madagascar beans to see the difference between the two, and made some with a 50-50 mix of beans.) You could simply add about 12-15 beans to the entire 1.75 liter bottle of vodka for the same result . . . but at half the cost for the same volume of store-bought vanilla extract, and no telling what kind of beans were used.

Wish I would have found sooner
I honestly cannot believe how much I have wasted buying one vanilla bean at the grocery store for the same price . The quality is so much better as well. Not dry at all, Such a money saver, I am ecstatic.
