899/1199 Panigale Fender Eliminator Kit - New Rage Cycles

Install was pretty straight forward although the instructions didn't seem to match my 899 exactly. Just take your time and align the lights carefully and there won't be any gap. Took about an hour and I'm really, really pleased with the new look. Remember, the turn signal lights only match perfectly in one position. Take your time.

A must have to replace that horrific looking tail light/signal setup that comes stock on the bike. Super clean and sleek! Very pleased with quality and look.

This thing may look good when it's installed but it's a horrible design. They expect you to basically crush your turn signal and license plate wires under you passenger seat to secure the tidy tail to the moto. That's not good engineering. Also, the double sided tape that secures the underside of the tidy tail doesn't fit that well. There is some space not accounted for that the tape doesn't reach. The elements will get in and under it and it probably won't last. I had the same problem that everyone else had in the reviews. The bolts for the license plate holder was entirely too large to fit through the holes. I had to dremel out the holes so they would fit. Terrible. I paid $190 to modify a part that engineers modified. Give me my money back.

The NRC fender eliminator is probably one of the best additions I did to the Panigale. Really cleans up the rear of the bike and the install is plug and play. 10/10 to the New Rage Cycles team!

Ok so let me start by saying that I love the look of the lights and they really give the bike a clean look that no other fender eliminator can provide, install was performed on an 899. Only three stars because of three reasons!! NRC listen up! Firstly, your instructions page leaves a simple job up to guess work and is really quite vague, especially when the pictures are in black and white. Secondly, I HATE license plate holder, the oval NRC in the middle of it makes it such a pain in the ass to tighten the bolts when your keeping your passenger pegs, there's no room to work with as it is and now I can only use my Allen wrench long ways! Oh but wait! The machined holes you insert the bolts through the license plate are too small for them to fit through the plate which makes you question if your doing it right, coupled with the fact the instructions are shit and the pictures suck; made me very confused. I had to FORCE the bolts through the license plate and if it was made out of any other harder metal it would've striped the bolts. Lastly, the angle at which the unit adheres to the plastics under the taillight is not fully flush meaning it leaves a gap with a large portion of the tape not in contact with the plastics on the bike. I want to say that when installing it less than 25% of the tape actually made contact with the plastics under the taillight. This again, made me think I was not installing it correctly, and furthermore, makes me feel like it's not going to be the most durable. The torx screw and nut does provide ample support so it's not flimsy by any means but that's beside the point; the unit is angled make the tape stick all the way! Maybe I just got unlucky and received a defective plate and maybe my unit wasnt angled correctly I don't know, but I doubt it. So far, I'm content with the purchase it was just such a pain in the ass! It really should've been a very simple install but the instructions need to be more clear, the holes in the liscense plate need to be big enough to fit the damn bolt through, and I wish the angle of the unit where the double sided tape meets the plastics on the bike was flush and adhered with all of the tape.

Customer service is A1 which is the reason for my great review most of all. I accidentally ordered this kit for my 959 thinking there wasn’t a difference with the 899/1199. Turns out there’s a bracket that the 959’s use but didn’t come with the kit because it’s for the 959. They immediately took care of it and I have the bracket piece on it’s way and that’s the last part left and the finished look is A1.
