⚡ Unleash electrifying power in a compact boost!
This 3-piece high voltage boost module converts 6-12V DC input into a staggering 500KV to 1000KV output using Tesla coil principles. Designed for scientific experiments and electronic projects, it delivers powerful arcs up to 20mm with a simple plug-and-play setup. Compact and efficient, it requires a 2A-5A input current and recommended battery capacity above 2000mA for optimal performance. Note: High voltage output demands careful handling and limited continuous use.

PACKS A PUNCH!! But no bleeder resistors create a safety hazard.
These ran fine half of a half didnt Main for battery. Even hit my arm once and it was the worst pain I think ive ever felt in my life. This brings up the safety issue though, when you have high-voltage capacitors Capable of storing terrifying amounts of electricity, It is not uncommon to see your sister across the two pause in the capacity to allow a slow bleed down so as to prevent injury from accidental contact across the two leads. These coils DO NOT contain any current bleed down device as youll notice after the arc extinguishes, the secondary wires will give one final “pop” if shorted together after de energizing. Be careful!!

these things have snap
used as a ignition source on homemade weed and army worm burner, these little guys have some serious punch, almost bone chilling to hear it crackle. tried some others and these are nasty, highly recommend don't kill yourself with them

NOT FOR !12 VOLTS !!
I purchased three of these. 1 was DOA . 1 worked for about 1 min and the other about 3 mins. After reading other reviews I determined that they WILL NOT handle 12 Volts. I ordered 3 more and will try at 6 volts.

Won’t last long but they work
I’d like to give this a 3.5 but can’t. They work, some of them longer than others. My complaint is that on two of them the lead just ripped right out super easily rendering a couple of the units useless fast. Other than that yes I’d recommend. It’s not actually that voltage, it’s more like 10-40kv but worked for what I needed. The reason they don’t last is because these parts are not rated for this voltage, and honestly it would be very hard to build something this small that would be rated for such a task. To mitigate this the components are encased in a solidified layer of epoxy. Little side info for ya. Thank you.

Continuous operation at 4.2 Volts will require a heatsink and fan
If you plan on keeping it energized like for a bug zapper you will need to add a hinksink and fan. It gets over 250 deg f. At 4.2 volts the no-zap air gap will need to be about 15mm. Would be nice to add a motion detector to see if a bug is near then turn it on and then off.

Not worth it
Stopped working after just a few discharges.

Failures right out of the box
only 1 out of 3 of these worked. The first let smoke out when I powered it on. The 2nd didn't do anything at all. The 3rd had properly stripped back wires, and immediately worked when I connected my leads to it. As I continue to test I'll report back if there is any other failures.
