Soft and warm as advertised. It is a definite improvement over airplane blankets and is much thicker than the Sherpa throw blankets that I found in my local stores. This is the perfect size for two people sitting on a couch. Before I bought this blanket, I started looking at $50+ wool throw blankets, but remembered they would be scratchy and need dry cleaning. Also, the only way to get soft wool instead of scratchy wool was to spend over $200 on cashmere or alpaca wool blanket. This was an excellent soft and warm alternative that didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I got blue because it was my wife's favorite color and the beautiful color in the picture is very accurate. However, if you want to keep dust or pet hair from showing, you may want to consider a lighter color. For the sake of exactness, it is best described as thick, but not "extra thick." Because it is synthetic, it is surprisingly light, but still fiarly warm, appropriate for indoor use.

I gave this to my Mom for Christmas one year and she loved how soft it was. It quickly became that cat's blanket at the end of her bed and I can't speak for the cat, but actions speak louder than words, so I assume he loved it, too.

I'm in Heaven. I only just opened the blanket up and already its softness has enveloped me in a warm, snuggly hug. I highly recommend this blanket. It has become the best blanket ever in my eyes. The color is super beautiful too. You will not be disappointed.Only downside is there's an odor to it. Kinda smells like fish oil. But it seems to be dissipating.

This throw/blanket is amazingly soft, warm, and cozy without being too heavy. It was a Christmas gift to my daughter. A few days after Christmas, she announced that it is the best gift she received.

The blanket is super soft as advertised. However, it had a strong chemical odor to it & had to be washed before my disabled son was able to use it. Otherwise, it's a great blanket
