Got this product to keep an eye on our house during the day but didn't want to overpay for other products out there.Super easy to set up with instructions from the app. I was able to connect my phone to the receiver then the camera within about 10min. I can check the mi home app on my android phone, and my missus can do the same on her tablet.Product comes with bracket to install outside, and overall offered great quality image. It also has a mic so I was able to pick up audio off the camera while checking it. Plus, I managed to set up some motion detection so it alerted me on the phone when somebody came near my house.overall, a quality product. Can't really fault it.

I bought this for outdoor monitor, I spent 10 minute to install this. Hence it is super easy to install without need of wire or cable. And install also the Xiaomi app easily that let me to monitor my outdoor front door even when I am in the work. best thing I get from this xiaomi camera is 7 days free storage and I also can record video using Sd card.Highly recommended this product!!!

Read carefully!! You will need the camera with its base unit for it to work.Obvious really but it’s easy to buy just the camera called the add on ((almost same price)

the outdoor camera cannot work alone, it has to be paired with an in door receiver which is not included in this product. Return process is not user friendly, I need to pay the posting by myself and claim back from the seller. Has been sent out the return item for more than a week but still not receive the refund.

Easy installation and setup, no wires whatsoever!

The initial set up was very easy and I have the camera about six metres from the hub. The camera came charged and so I could install immediately. The pro's: 1) the camera image is very good for the price of the camera 2) as I have said installation is easy. The con's: 1) unless you have a solar panel to charge the camera in situ each time you want to charge for camera you have to undo a very small grub screw which holds the camera in place on the camera base plate 2) the recording are on 15 secs long 3) the camera doesn't trigger a recording for anything less than a human - doesn't record the dogs which poop in our garden 4) night vision on the camera is not worth having - you can't see a thing. All that said I am buying additional camera's to increase the views I can protect.

These cameras tend to live their own life. The set up although not difficult it is not smooth, I had to repeat some steps as it would just go blank. The camera outside thinks for itself. Sometimes it decided to pick up a motion and sometimes it won't. The battery is a laughing matter. It would probably last 90 days if left in the box and never triggered. I have installed my cameras outside the house, after a week front was showing 58% and garden 72%. I got to add that cameras were switched off from motion when we were at home. You can do the maths. Very dissapointed.
