As most others I'm sure have done by now, I read through the reviews and was concerned that the wallet feature would be some terrible fail/scam. I've spent years of looking for a great case/wallet combo, I think I've finally arrived after eight months with this model. What no other reviews mention: the 'wallet' is actually spring-loaded, which holds onto your cards and also lets the wallet hold onto the case. The wallet doesn't technically have to hold onto the case, as the case's kickstand completely blocks the wallet from slipping out. Even if the kickstand wasn't there, the springloaded mechanism of the wallet holds so firmly onto the case that I think I'd be just find without the kickstand. I use the wallet for two credit cards and my drivers license. they're all held snug by the spring in the wallet, I'd REALLY have to work to make something fall out. I primarily use ApplePay for everything, so the two credit cards are just there for backups in case a place doesn't take tap-pay. BUT - I have a second level backup: I fold two crisp $100 and a $50 and slip them in behind the wallet (between the phone and wallet). So when I leave the house with my phone I feel like I'm completely covered. This is a GREAT case, and I generally do not like cases. Finally, as I said, I dislike cases because I haven't broken too many phones just using them without. But after wrapping my phone in this armor, I cannot imagine a better layer of pound-for-pound protection. So, there, as one who crawled these reviews with doubt for a long time, I'm here to say you need crawl no more. This is a damn fine case and you'll never need to be concerned about a wallet again provided you can avoid losing your phone ;)

So I bought this case on a whim. I work in the construction industry so I’ve had some near misses when it came to phones. So buying this case and feeling the weight of it gave me a bit of confidence in its durability. Not a week later I’m 30ft up in a lift and my boss calls. Boom I sneezed and phone pops out of my hand and falls to the concrete below. Now 30ft for a phone to fall is a lot I thought it was toast. I did not expect the phone to be fine, the case to have a tiny ding, oh and the concrete floor to be cracked. Probably would have taken a guy out even with a hard hat on. Great case.

Update: I have received the replacement case and have had the case for 2 days. I have noticed that even the slightest move will cause all 3 credit cards to slide out! How can it be that I pay over $250 for this case and the credit cards don’t even stay in!!!! I almost was not able to remove the screws off of my $1200 iPhone Pro Max! The screws were on as lose as possible too. Ludicrous! That’s what I get for paying this much for a case. The case is worth about $50 max! Upon receiving the case, I opened the package and was not able to remove one of the screws. Sending it back. I received another case very fast. I like the case and it very sturdy. My only complaint is how slippery the case is. It’s all metal and I do feel they should incorporate some rubber siding to give the case a little grip

I could not take a picture of the case at the moment, unfortuately. I may go back now and upgrade to a 3, but only a 3 because the following did happen: 1). Most important, the credit card holder, which I did not trust to hold my credit cards I am so gad, simply came loose, and the piece dropped off of it. I have it in my desk somewhere. And that was maybe 6 months after I had it. I did not buy it for that, I bought it for its reported ruggedness. 2). Ruggedness... see #1 above. That should not have happened, I did nothing to cause it, except maybe drop it once, or twice, from 3 feet, no more (pocket to ground). Even then the phone was fine. 3). It's a little wide, it really is - the mode I have is an I-Phone 15 ' large I guess. Holding it is actually tiresome,. 4). Like: I had a couple of drops, there were probably more times when it was nearly abused just day to day use. It did protect the phone. But 3 of 5 is all I can give because of my experience. Now there are some screws backing out of the case, just loosening, and I don't know why. But I have had it for over a year now. And I still somewhat trust it. Just not with my credit cards.

This is my first element case and I love it. I am so satisfied and honestly impressed by the overall design and feel of this thing. The other reviews can be a bit miss-judging as I do not suffer from the issues that other buyers have mentioned. I’ve had it for almost a month and without a doubt it’s changed the way I view quality and convenience in a phone case. It’s so cool, the case wallet is very sleek and easy to use. The shipping was very fast in very good manufacture packaging. I get compliments all the time about this case! Just looking at this case and holding it in your hand, anyone could tell immediately that this thing is built to last. Very easy to install, high-quality material, superior protection with included tools for the installation. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for the perfect iPhone 13 Pro Max case.

Make your phone twice as heavy. Looks nice.. Would not worry about dropping your phone or even throwing it across the parking lot. Heavy duty phone case will not break. Lol.

Fits perfect. Great design and much improved from last one. Im glad I took the chance hoping it would fit! I did my own research and glad I did my homework. Fits my iphone 12 pro max great..

Has great potential to be great but is awful!! Came with missing tool to put screws on, missing 3 screws to put the case on, I tried to use with the screws they sent and they got stripped out even trying to just simply screw them on, then the card holder broke on the 3rd use of it! Very disappointed, could be a very high quality product but is just made so cheaply and falls apart in 1 day!

Product looks very good and like the look but attached wallet that slides on back came with parts loose or broken in the box Doesn’t appear as tough as it looks Company said would warranty product but have to pay additional fee for shipping (30$)

Not as bad as people say, yes it’s probably overprice, that being said, the phone is incase with a very sturdy metal frame that you have to screw in place. Most of the case is decent plastic, but the wallet quality does leave to desire. It came in a super nice package and they include a plastic film protector for when the wallet is not present. Overall I like it.
