The Hacker: 5 (Norcross Security) Paperback – 8 Oct. 2021

I love Anna's books and the Norcross series is one of my favourites. It was Ace and Maggie's turn this time, full of romance, so much action and the right amount of steam. We also got plenty of Vander - wahoo! I literally cannot wait for his book next month!!! I suspect we'll also be getting books from Hunt and his brothers in the future? My only niggle is the playboy/manwh@re hero is getting a bit tiresome, most of the norcross boys and all the NY billionaires fell under this category, with the angst from the heroines about their ability to remain faithful and not leave them to go back to their bachelor lifestyle. I'm very very happy to see that Vander doesn't fall under this and we're finally getting a hot alpha hero that doesn't sleep with anyone with a pulse, and honestly that makes me even more excited to meet the woman who is gonna take him down. This didn't take away from the enjoyment of the story at all, its a great book in a wonderful series, likeable characters, no cheating and a sweet HEA ❤

I really liked this book and am thoroughly enjoying the series as a whole.A dedicated ladies man, Ace fell off that wagon well and truly seemingly at the end of the last book and this story picks up not long after that.Having had a tempestuous friendship that’s skirted round the edge for a while, one explosive night changes their relationship forever and despite an element of mistrust and shock starting this story, we quickly get on track, on message and allow the alpha to run the show.An adorable book with great interaction with the rest of the group the series has built so well in earlier books this book definitely follows the theme of low level angst, mid level suspense and high level romance.My one problem as this series continues is that despite the female characters being given strong backgrounds and seemingly being their own person at the outset, they quickly fall into the damsel in distress camp and devolve all decision making to the H. It does get mildly wearing and I do hope for some bite back rather than acceptance of H being right and in charge at times. I also felt that despite the build up in the prior books and a brief mention of it, Ace gave up his penchant for variety with no fan fare at all.Otherwise a great story and a highly enjoyable read

The difference between a sexy book is the difference between sugar and spice THEN comes along ANNA HACKETT her books 📚📚 are 🔥🔥🔥🔥 . 🌶🌶🌶 and occasionally 😢😢 but the making up is overwhelming.lovers of sexy\well written books to go to ANNA HACKETT and enjoy.

Ace and Maggie are couple goals! An amazingly strong female pilot and an alpha badass hacker. I am obsessed with this series!

Have enjoyed all the books in this series so far, but this one for me has to be the best yet. Maggie and Ace are so awesome. So well written, the plot well thought out, and the Americanisms are spot on. Can't wait for Vander's story next.

Another great book in the series, with a different story featuring an unplanned pregnancy and a lot of unexpected situations. I liked the way the main characters had their own life issues that impacted them and they grappled with.Maggie is another strong character, while having a vulnerable side at times which is a similar trait to the other strong women in the series. Ace is a great character, well supported by his friends and strong with vulnerable aspects as he grappled with situations that arose.I'm Looking forward to Vander's story, but really need to go to bed before I start it!

Another great story in this wonderful series. This book had a bit of everything, drama, intrigue and suspense. I loved Ace and Maggie's story. Cannot wait for the next book now.

Book 5 felt like ages ago I read the rest (I also read another series of hers along the way) can't wait until next month for vanders love interest looks like it's a undercover cop (a little disappointed in that I guess she has to be hard core, but I wanted her to be soft and loving the man needs it) ace and maggie finally get there story we saw it coming and we saw them hook up together when he got jealous of a man hitting on her. This is a month later from that (see rome story last book) not sure if this ends on book 6 or if we get newcomer soon camdon story to along with his brothers detective hunt and riker

Fantastic and engaging plot from the beginning until the very end! Highly recommend reading this book. Pair it with the audible version, it makes your trip fly by.

Just love this series. Reading one book after the other. Anna Hackett is a great writer. I recommend this series.

Maggie Lopez is a helicopter pilot and also has a drone photography business. She has an one night stand with Ace Oliveira, the tech guru of Norcross Security being famous for his computer and hacking skills. When she registers she's pregnant, she tells Ace and is shocked about his reaction. But he only thinks, he would be a bad father and before they can clear the misunderstanding, there is someone, who tries to kill Maggie and Ace does everything to keep the woman, he loves, alive.I loved to read the book. It has love, steamy romance, adventure and action. I highly recommend this book and look forward to the next installment in this series.

This book was very good. I loved Ace and Maggie, they were so good together. Can't wait to read Vander's book.
