I guess an oversight on toyotas part... this affordable piece of plastic is a MUST! Keeps the cap from dangling and dripping and scratching! Installs in like 20 seconds once you find a Phillips head screw driver. The function of it is perfect, nice and snug, it won't drop it. Time will tell but it seems like very durable plastic. Awesome buy!

simple to install, fit easily and wasn't a crazy price. Still don't understand why these are not standard in vehicles, but glad I could find one to do the trick.

According to the advertisement, this was supposed to fit my Toyota. However, it was not meant for my model and/or year. The holder seems sturdy and well made. I was really excited and looking forward to using it - I unfortunately had to return it.Please update the models it actually fits in your description. I would definitely buy one again if you made one for my particular year & model. Very cool ideal though.

Gotta love Toyotas. I'm in my fifth one now, a 2020 Tacoma. It all began with their first year 1983 Van which was unfortunately totalled 3 years later; then an '86 Land Cruiser, a '96 RAV4 and a 2004 Highlander. This Taco is the first in my experience to offer no means of securing the gas cap while refueling. The bean counters did, however, supply an attachment point in a handy spot.This ingenious item is an easy to afford, install and use solution. Gotta love it, for after 2½ years of aggravation, the last 10½ months of using this simple fix have soothed my pet, and admittedly petty, peeve with their corporate beanies. Highly recommended.
