Can you use your finger to draw?

Yes. It works with anything- obviously you don’t want to scratch it, but we’ve used a smooth pen cap, finger, other random toys lol. My four yr old and 17 month old love it

How do you change the color as you are drawing?

Hi, When you draw, it changes colors on its own. You are not able to set a specific color. You can just draw and delete and draw again. 😉

The instruction manual says harmful substances present in pcb and pcba pad pb and hg. what does this mean? are there toxic substances in this product?
