Not what I expected
The DVD was ok. I bought it thinking it was all Andrea Bocelli and Charlotte Church dinging, so disappointed that it wasn’t.

Superb. A wonderful Christmas DVD that will be replayed Christmas after Christmas or anytime you need a lift.
Christmas at Westminster Abbey...Andrea Bocelli...Charlotte Church...Bryn Terfel and the Westminster Abbey Choir could not be better. Add poetic readings from such as Joan Plowright and Greta Sacchi for a truly memorable experience.Andrea Bocelli's performance of "Mille Cherubini in Coro" is absolutely gorgeous.Joan Plowright's moving reading of Kipling's "Eddi's Service" is especially memorable.Charlotte Church and Bryn Terfel's wonderfully different rendition of "Silent Night" is a joy.A wonderful Christmas DVD that will be replayed Christmas after Christmas or anytime you need a lift.

Christmas Glory From Westminster with Andrea Bocelli and Charlotte Church (2000)
I and my wife love Andrea Bocelli and it was nice to see and hear Charlotte Church again! The scenery was beautiful and shows format was great. The English really know how to put on a show! What more can I say, other than we loved it. We will enjoy watching it again each Christmas to come.

SAW THIS ON TV AND HAD TO HAVE IT. GREAT FOR THE XMAS SEASON. BEAUTIFUL MUSIC SET IN AN OLD ENGLISH MOOD. NOT ONLY FEATURING ANDREA AND CHARLOTTE BUT OTHER PERFORMERS AND CHORUS. IT IS AN OLD WORLD EXPERIENCE.

Christmas With The Angels
Andrea Bocelli seemed so young there. His performance was excellent and soulful as always. I enjoyed watching such a young Bryn Terfel perform. This was a treat to watch. The setting was beautiful and an excellent venue for Bocellis' voice to soar and reach the angels. The orchestra and choir were delightful. A good performance by all.

Christmas Worship from Westminster
I found this DVD on Amazon with a search on Charlotte Church, but this really isn't an album staring her, but a BBC Christmas special with a whole host of singers and speakers. Charlotte does a lot better singing on her other albums, since it looks like she was nervous here, but the real purpose of this DVD is praising Jesus. You won't be disappointed with this DVD. If you are like me, here in the US, you won't be familiar with Westminster Abbey, or with some of the songs.Get this DVD.

Christmas Eve in the USA is not a patch on what one may experience in places where the Christian religion has a deeper history.This film is elegant, beautiful and memorable. My family watches it every Christmas eve.

とりあえずDVDの画質ではないし、選曲の頭出しはできないとしても、デッキがあれば見れるのでこちらを購入。グレるまえのシャルロットチャーチまで出ていて大満足。ただ、テープゆえに劣化などはさけられないので、これからの方はDVDとリュージョン１のデッキ購入をおすすめします。聖歌を歌わせればアンドレアが一番だ！
